Baggins
Christian and his wife are Germans,NA raised in San Jose, along with their daughters. He is not a hometown boy and owed Vancouver nothing. We do not know how or if he fit in or what his family felt about staying here. Christian won the Babe Pratt both years and the PP,the team and Hank and Dan were really successful with Ehrhoff as the PP anchor. Gillis lowballing him and then letting him go is a huge mistake. Not replacing him is a larger blunder and after 70 games Canucks.org have still not figured out how much he meant to the team. Denial won't win a cup and neither will the blame game. That's what the Canucks acquired Keith Ballard to do. And if Ehrhoff is out, it's time for Ballard to stand and deliver.
