VaNux
Just a question regarding Pahlsson? Can he play the wing? As far as I have watched he has always played center. To me the best three bottom six players should comprise our checking line for the playoffs Pahlsson-Lapierre-Hansen I think this line would be unreal, but I don't know if Pahlsson could effectively play the wing. Anyone know?
Opmac
Any player can play any position, it's a question of whether he can be effective at it. Henrik Sedin can play defense, but will he be good at it? No. Henrik can also play goal, but will he be good at it? No. To answer your question about Samuel Pahlsson. The fact that he's always played centre when you've watched and when I've watched him, chances are he will be at his best when he plays centre. I'd put Manny Malhotra with Jannik Hansen and Samuel Pahlsson just because he's suppose to be one of our best players defensively. Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Higgins - Kesler - Booth Malhotra - Pahlsson - Hansen Raymond/Volpatti - Lapierre - Kassian Yes!
VaNux
I figured anyone reading the question would know it was implied that I was asking whether he was effective or not at wing, not if he can literally play the position. I agree Malhotra could be a good fit there. IF he can elevate his game to the level we have witnessed, it would be a no-brainer. Although I do feel Lapierre is great in the playoffs and should receive more ice time.
bossram
Burrows - Pahlsson - Hansen That's about as good of a checking line as you can get.

Toni Zamboni
pahlsson can be very effective on the wing, but he is a great center and face off guy so i doubt he will be moving.
rypper-37
He's been a center his whole life and he's a pretty darn good shut-down center. That line is pretty effective right now so I say don't change it.

bossram
That is an amazing checking line, but would you really want to break up our top line for the playoffs? Who would you put with the Sedins? Bitz? Kassian? Pahlsson?
Peaches
I'd rather Burrows have in the top-six. I was just saying that is the best checking line you can get from the players on our team. My preferred playoff lineup: Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Higgins - Kesler - Booth Raymond - Pahlsson - Hansen Malhotra - Lapierre - Kassian/Weise/Bitz/Reinprecht Hamhuis - Bieksa Edler - Salo Ballard - Tanev Alberts/Rome
Caper
The way the lines have been juggled lately, you'll probably see him on defense or flying the team plane at some point.
