Ralph.
Dan Murphy @sportsnetmurphReply Retweet Favorite · Open Sami Salo a healthy scratch for #canucks. MAG draws in and will be paired with Edler. Bieksa back with Hamhuis. Raymond out, Malhotra in.
drukes1234
Scary yes but when Salo is in the lineup I think AV will be smart enough to put the D pairing back to what they usually are.

Ghostdivision
Edler mag is not great, but you have to give mag 10 games played before the end of the season i believe...I forget that rule someone could clarify. Av might want tanev and rome to get some time together again, and wants hamhuis and bieksa back, so that leaves edler without a pairing.
Ghostdivision
So if manny is in, where is he playing? Is weise out, or going to the 3rd, or is manny going to 3rd, and burrows to the 1st?
forever_hope
Other than the obvious that edler needs a right handed dman, i think AV wants someone offensive to create that 5 man unit that worked so well last year with ehrhoff
Bang Bang Boogie
I'm assuming this is just a rest day for Salo? I hope he didn't get injured with anything.
soshified
At least they put Bieksa back with Hamhuis. Imma say it Kassian with the Sedins. 2nd and 3rd lines look the same. Lappy with Malhotra, and Weise Or they put Burr back with the Sedins and have Malhotra playing on the third line while having the 4th and 2nd line intact
Sixteen W's
It's kind of weird Raymond is scratched after what was probably one of his better games.

RUPERTKBD
I think this is just the coaching staff managing ice time, at least in Salo's case. They still want to give MAG more time to get familiar with the team and SS, as the oldest member of the D-Corps, is the likely candidate for a day off. Raymond's situation is less obvious. Are they giving up on him, or are they just trying to rotate all of the bottom six through the lineup? My guess would be the latter, but time will tell. Madness
Funny that Raymond is scratched after playing better last game than he has most of the season.
NUCKS4CUP 28
Why the Hell is Salo scratched? Raymond finally has a good game against Columbus and he gets scratched? I don't understand.

Walking Paradox
My best guess is that Kassian goes with the Sedins. Burrows has been good on that 3rd line with Pahlsson and Hansen.
CanKnucklehead89
Thank effing god!, I don't care if it was Raymond's best game of the season, I feel bad for MayRay but it's seriously about time already. As for Salo, sounds like it's just a rest day which is probably much needed, I hope some of the other's get rest days once the division is officially clinched.
