Lui's Knob
Similar to nashville could gm mg source out a player from the KHL to play waiver free for the nucks? Is there anyone we could sign? Some offense, perhaps a top 4 D?

Pears
I don't think we have anyone in the KHL under contract. Whereas Radulov had one year left on his deal with Nashville.
Ralph.
There is absolutely no chance of the Canucks being able to do something similar.
frazzY
lol obviously radulov was still under contract... you cant just pull rabbits out of hats and put skates on em AFTER the trade deadline... lol
MoneypuckOverlord
LOL, also there is no one worth going after in the KHL. Some of you need to understand, theres a gap level in terms of skill between the KHL and the NHL, as biased as some Russian fans will tell you. The best KHL players will not make it as a top line NHL player, but maybe , just maybe a 2nd line NHL player. And yes, someone like David Booth will dominate the KHL, not that David Booth is a bad player, someone like Mason Raymond will thrive in the KHL, the leauge were "everyone will win the Lady Pearson trophy for sportsmanship." this is no joke. The only player that I know of, that is probably good enough to play as a top 4 defencemen is Kiril Koltsov. But we don't want him. End thread. Lui's Knob
Wish there was a way to bolster our 2 line pop gun offense on to next year
Silfverberg Snipes
Radulov made the Preds that much better. They are going to be a force.
forever_hope
Maybe if we still had shirokov? I heard he was doing pretty well over there.. but I think that's also different because he left after his contract expired.. We'd have his rights but he'd still have to go through waivers

Phil_314
let's just say Sergei "skipped over by us" Shirokov was among the top scorers in the KHL and that guys like Nik Zherdev, Brandon Bochenski and LA Kings castoff Kevin Dallman (do I hear a "who?"-- Horton) are All-Stars over there, when they could barely even hold down jobs here. unless we could pull out Ziggy Palffy and turn time back by 12 years no thanks. Bruce Boudreau
No Radulov and Nashville have a unique situation. If any other team tries to bring a guy back from Europe to play now, he would have to pass through waivers first.
thehamburglar
Only person I'd think of is Shriokov. Has 48 points in 53 games, but he's not our player anymore.
DeNiro
We can always call up Schroeder, Sweatt, Rodin, or Jensen if we're desperate. I think Reinprecht may be in managements plans though. He's been playing well for the Woves, plus he's a cup winner.
