Connauton
http://canucks.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=39648 VOLPATTI SKATES Canucks forward Aaron Volpatti, who was sidelined indefinitely after undergoing shoulder surgery on December 4th, is perhaps closer to a return than anyone expected. Volpatti was put through the paces, alongside Andrew Ebbett, prior to Vancouver’s morning skate Friday, and although he hasn’t been cleared to play, it remains a possibility. ”He’s improved and his conditioning has improved and we want to make sure that if he’s ever given the green light to play, that we have him ready to go,” said Bowness. Shift-4
I was really disappointed when we lost him.
Flintigen
It sure is a lot harder to work the word peppermint into casual conversation since he has been out...
Industrious1
This is great news! I was really enjoying the way Volpatti was playing before he got that injury and if he can pick up that pace for the playoffs the teams bottom 6 will be that much harder to play against. Dildo Faggins
On the topic of injured players, does anyone know how Pinizzotto is doing? Any word on him? Any chance he might be able to play in the play-offs? Damn he would be so useful for that. Imagine a 4th line of Kassian, Bitz and Pinizzotto? Van_City123
It's good to have depth. I too was dissapointed when we lost him, as well Steve Pinnizotto(sp?).

SixtyEight
Volpatti was great, I'd say he was better than Weise or Bitz
WEwantCUP
I hope he's able to play at some point in the playoffs. I really liked that Weise - Lappierre - Volpatti 4th line earlier in the season

Bar_Down16
Our best 4th line winger this year. Hope he will be ready!
King Heffy
Good to see him recovering; it takes a lot of dedication to come back ahead of schedule. I like him a lot more than Weise to provide some toughness on the 4th line.
TOMapleLaughs
I certainly hope AV throws in these fresh guys now and then rather than riding our current lineup into the ice. TOML

Chong69
Maaaaan!!! When playoffs come and we can call up everybody we want and no worries about the salary cap, we're going to be a whole lot meaner! Bitz, Mancari, Volpatti, Reinprect, Duco... Can't wait for the playoffs!
