Ursel23
Ive been across the world in Australia and havent been able to catch any games. Not really the greatest at using the message board either on looking up information so ill ask myself. Ive noticed Bieksa out of the line up. Injury? When is he supposed to return? Also I havent seen anything on Daniel. Any news of his return? Plus Ebbett, good to see him back... Will he be used in Playoffs with a healthy roster? On Bieksa: From what I've heard, it's 'body soreness', so they're resting him for the playoffs. If we were in a fight for a playoff spot, or this was the playoffs, he'd be in. On Daniel: He's been progressing, though not yet symptom free last I heard. Gillis and the Canucks are hoping he'll be ready to go for the start of the playoffs. On Ebbett: If he contributes, he'll play. I don't see him in the lineup to start the first round though unless he really impresses over these last few games. SixtyEight
I wouldnt call Kassian invisible, I think hes great at winning battles, Ive never seen him lose a battle in the offensive zone, and he uses his size. He's a little on and off with his passing, hes made some sexy ones, and some ones that were a few feet off. Either way he's a prospect and the only thing I expect him to do is continue to develop himself
enterin
the expectations of Kassian by fans is so high. It's kinda unfortunate. Gotta remember he's still a very young kid and it's his first year in the NHL. I think for now he's best suited on the 4th line to crash and bang and create plays. That's where he's most successful - playing physical and creating turnovers. We saw that in his first 2 games. I was at the game last night and he played well. Definitely happy to see Weise out tonight and Ebbett back in. If you want to talk invisible, Weise is your man.
