Tough Words To Spell

I tend to mix up "than" with "then" when I post on forums, and I have no idea why. I usually catch it immediately and edit it, but for some reason the first time it goes flying over my head.

Their is when the subject is possessive

There is basically the opposite of Here. Whenever here would fit, this is probably the there you want.

Eg. It is their car (It is HERE car would not work)

It is over there (It is over HERE would work)

I don't understand how some people could come to this conclusion but some people seem to think 'disgusting' is spelled 'discusting'.

I always say Sedin twins. The apostrophe comes from people knowing that their names are not 'Sedins', but rather 'Sedin'.

Receive for some people, even though it is not an exception to the "'i' before 'e' except after 'c' rule". I've seen a few of my profs and past teachers make this mistake. The one mistake I hate is when people say (not spell) 'seen' when they should say 'saw', bugs the hell out of me haha.
