Should Av Take Advice From Laviolette?

You know who AV should take advice from? Torts

Torts would probably turn Raymond into a man. He'd call out our players. Any of you guys see HBO and how he yelled at Gaborik? Look how well he's playing how.

That's what our team needs

Kassian is the type of player we were missing from the line-up and MG addressed that issue. Yes, he is young but instead of burying him on the 4th line AV should have being playing on the 2nd or 3rd lines to see what he could do and develop his confidence. If we are really to develop our young talent AV needs to go. Kass made a nice play and stood in front of the net on the 2nd goal. There's a concept. When we were on the PP at the end of the game why not throw from in front of the net again....instead AV puts out Mason "trip over the blue line" Raymond to fall over in the corner. I can tell you that if this team is to succeed in the future AV needs to be fired and someone who is willing to give players a chance and actually "coach" to counter-act what the other team does is a must. AV is constantly out-coached.

When a team plays without motivation as much as the Canucks have for the past 2-3 months one must start to look at the coaching staff and it's leadership core group.

These guys can't even get up for NHL Playoff games.

If they go out in 4-5 games then it's time to consider serious changes to this club stating with the coach and "core' group.

A Leadership core that decided Game 1 to dive and yap and not even try.

LA's leaders are stepping up, not ours.

If they lose Game 3 its tee off times and MG and Aquilini will have some serious discussion and work cut out for them.

AV can't do it in the playoffs. He's an amateur coach who relies entirely on players motivating themselves. Unfortunately for the Canucks players, it appears they have no self-motivation.

Kesler is playing by himself, which is making his whole line useless. This has been an on-going problem but the only time it was actually address was when AV spoke through the media and not to Kesler.

Hodgson would have been a replacement for Kesler in a couple of years, but now we have to rely on Schroeder who is still a couple of years from being an NHLer.
