5minutesinthebox
kesler has a history of success raymond has a history of failure and disappointment raymond continues to cough up the. puck at inopportune times, cannot win a puck battle in the corners and is virtually impossible to play with as it's extremely difficult to read what he is going to do with the puck after he circles the zone 12 times. raymond does not deserve the ice time he receives, but the fact of the matter is he's much too soft and weak to be a 3rd or 4th line player and doesn't have the vision to play anywhere near a top 6 role consistently. 5minutesinthebox
Only because they've hit Jonathan Quick dead centre in the King's crest.
wrath_jason
Mayray doesn't fit the team anymore. He looked decent 3-4 years ago, but now we replaced him with David Booth. And they are both doing about the same thing...jack sh1t.
blueyedevil71
I think they're all open to the hate right now,,,I have no idea why Coach V put him on the top line,,,he must see something in his gameplay that noone else does.. I think he tries hard but can never finish his plays,,always pushed off the puck or falls down..Kesler is sucking big time right now,,about the only thing he has going for him is the face off circle....... RyanKeslord17
That doesn't justify the disproportionate hate given to him specifically.
Primal Optimist
at this point i would sit him and his 15 useless shots on net in the press box and call up mancarri, jensen, shroeder, reinprecht or Daniel Sedin... ...what that? They may get to play Sedin next game? Good good, have a seat Macy Ray.
luongotv
When i see mason raymond, i see a winger whose confidence is dented by fan support. We support him, He'll support the team.

CanucksSayEh
Other than Hansen hitting the post, pretty much every single chance has been generated by MayRay, he still falls occasionally but unlike in the season, he still keeps puck possession and makes a pass or shot. He is checking well, actually throwing his weight (though small) around and if and when he loses the puck it's in the offensive zone NOT RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR OWN NET.. yea im looking at you Salo, Edler and Manny. He's among the few players that have shown up this series.
spliced
Logic doesn't matter When CDC has found their whipping boy. Hank and Kesler can't score = blame Raymond and Luongo.
avelanch
The guy is one of our best forwards right now. He is backchecking, hitting effectively, not falling, creating chances and generally doing everything but scoring, which is more than one can say about a lot of people. Cristalinastar
Hes okay to look at. Thats all. The hate will end when hes gone. Poor guy, i like his character but i dont think hes irreplaceable. I feel sorry for him and admire that he battled back from a horrendous injury, but all the criticisms are cometely true.

nuckin_futz
I also saw him jawing at Brown the shift after he hit Henrik (shows he's really passionate).
Connauton
CDC is filled with a lot of kids who get quite emotional and jump on and off the bandwagon. Annoying, yes, but you get used to it after a while. I doubt the hate will go away till he scores a goal, then everyone will love him again. mcgillnuck
I agree with the OP. Our most effective forwards right now are Hansen and Mayray. At least they're not actively costing the team like Edler, Salo and Malhotra. Higgins is also getting a free pass right now for some reason. I feel like he's been on for every goal against this entire series.
