L'Orange
Can someone please explain the appeal of armchair gming... You throw out completely ridiculous far fetched ideas that will never come to fruition, therefore no payoff or satisfaction. Nor do you have any sway whatsoever on what will really happen. Get real canuck fans
Actually, Ballard *had* a NTC. That clause went away when he agreed to be moved here. regards, G.

Gollumpus
Pretty sure if its in the contract he could wave it to go to the new team, but that the ntc would still be in effect. If Lu waved it to go anywhere that new team would take on the deal and the ntc would still be in effect and they would need Lu go to them until the team option was able to be used. Not sure how reliable the fourth period is but it has Ballard as having a ntc http://www.thefourth...e/notrades.html
Haidacanuck
Lou is a good goalie just because schnieds is starting doesn't mean a trade will ever happen if it did Toronto : Lupul Trade that waste of skin Raymond and weise for a defenseman to replace Salo when he decides to hang it up
Kubrick

Anywhere Luongo is traded to, the return will be low in cap hit.

They have to absorb less contract than he currently has so they can sign Schneider. If they take back the same cap hit then there's no point to trading Lou.

Anything either goalie is traded for will be prospects and picks or a lower 7 figure contract or someone they can burry in the minors.
