Get real canuck fans
There is almost 17 million reasons for the last 2 seasons for him to get over it. I know his pride is hurt and he is definatly a proud man, but he is an athlete and knows what he signed up for. By the time he is 37 he will have made well over 50 million dollars, I know most would be able a way to cope the disappointment because hockey is a game and I am sure when he is with his family he is alright. Nino
His contract won't be as hard as some think to move. He has an out clause in 2 years and the team has an out clause 2 years after that. It's essentially a 4 year deal at a very reasonable cap hit of 5.3m for one of the best goalies in the league. There are a handful of teams that would be very interested in a deal

-DLC-
For crying out loud, some of you do realize that money doesn't equate absolute happiness and immunity from emotion?? Even rich people are human beings, you make it sound like he's devoid of any feelings because he has money. Lu has proven to be a passionate guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. He's completely invested in this game and that doesn't go away with luxuries. The athlete in him will always mean that he certainly does carry this game with him, despite his earnings. Such a narrow minded view to think he doesn't. Obviously people who think this way have never experienced playing a team sport, where nothing else is important during the course of a game. The Situation
I don't feel bad at all. I am pretty sure he knew what he was getting into when he chose to join the NHL and become a professional athlete.
SimplyHockey
<p> I feel for him because he has played well but it's all about who is playing better and the situation the team faces. He's a good team guy . Do we really know if Schneid wants to stay, he could request a trade.

realnucksfan2010
First off God forgives everyone reguardless if they deserve it or not!!! This is not the issue here, the fact of the matter is, yes Luo is under tremendous pressure and is caving! This is not a reflection of who he is off the ice, our opinions and feelings for him are based soully on his performance one the ice!!!!!! Stop makeing your judgements about his person, and instead base them on his performace, which has been poor this season!

dKs89
if indy can dump manning for a guy who hasnt thrown a pass, then we can dump lu for a guy whos outplayed him for 2 seasons. No need to feel bad, manning took it like a pro, so can lu.
Sandro17
I get mad when he lets in garbage goals but after all this media stuff and people having him traded I feel sad when I watch his interviews. I just wish his time in Vancouver could have been more memorable for him and us.
Ugli Fruit
I don't blame Lui at all. if we let in 8 goals in a game like last year vs Boston. I will blame him badly. But now, I will blame MG and AV most. Especially AV, he has not inspired the team in playoff and the whole team played like garbage.
realnucksfan2010
Luo is caving to the pressure how else do you explain his poor play over the entire season, he has had some stellar games, but the poor one out weigh the good ones no deniying that, Cory has been lights out even in his bad games he still manages to out battle Luo. Not saying Luo is a horrible person, his play has been bad over all that's all i am saying, yes we are spoiled to have two tremendous goalies however it is becoming quite obvious that Luo could be done here, He clearly want to be where his family is and good on him for that!!! Go Canucks Go!!!!!! I believe
Nino
How has he outplayed him? You can't compare a backups stats to a starters. When Schneider becomes a starter, then you can compare.

Seanny_Canuck1970
LU plays Game 1, Series #2. I wouldn't be surprised if LU gets game 7 either. CS #35 is just our spark to get us going.
Two Blind Mice
I would not agree that Luongo is caving lol. Again was he not the best Canucks player in games one and two of this series ? Has he really been playing poorly this season ? I think Canucks fans are spoiled by the talents in goal especially if people think Luongo is playing poorly.
