Smashian Kassian
Grigorenko would not get 3.575 mil.....
hockeyfan90
not bad but i rather trade booth he just can't do anything offensively and get rid of ballard. He's good but not worth his money. We can get better for that price. I really think we need a top 6 proven goal scorer. The last two years we've gotten eliminated because we couldn't score (8 goals in 7 games in 2011, 8 goals in 5 games in 2012) really not good... I strongly suggest they find some way to sign Parise and Whitney. Or maybe trade for a top 6 forward? Trade suggestions: Ryan Getzlaf, Bobby Ryan, Rick Nash, Eriksson, Iginla, Vanek, or any others viable for trade that are good Also, I would sign Semin IF and only IF he doesn't cost too much...if around 3-3.5 mill, I would sign him. Plus I would try to inject some youth into our system as in the playoffs a lot of young players are shinning (Schen, Couturier, Seguin). Horrible trade with Hodgson! Stupidest thing ever... Karlsson`s Flo
Great. Teams would love our smaller defenseman. And I really don't like giving up Schroeder for Neil.
mattyj_1
I would suggest keeping Edler and Tampa's first (I believe its a top 10) and drafting one of the many talented Dmen in this years draft. Alternatively, apparently Grigorenko's stock is just plummeting after the QMJHL playoffs so maybe he falls to us like Hodgson did in 2008? Ballard on the top pairing just scares me a little bit. I wouldn't call the Hodgson trade stupid just yet, like the OP said Kassian needs a year on the AHL to figure things out.
7thMan
Grigorenko is getting how much? He isn't even allowed to get paid that much. You know nothing about things.
ButterBean
Schroeder and a 3rd for Neil!? And you would put Ballard over Suter on the power play?

Bilbro Baggins
Trading Edler at the draft is a HUGE gamble. If Suter doesn't sign here (significantly large chance that he doesn't) then our defense is awful.
