ccc44
hmm sarcasm?? lol...but seriously what do you guys think about his chances next year?
funkyfresh
I think he has a good chance to make the team considering how good he looked in the games last pre-season, and he has probably improved quite a bit since then.
Tangerines
Kind of looks like Malkin in the Highlights
Mad Cow Disease
I think he'll get his 8 games next year, much like Hodgson did in '10-11.
SOB for MVP
Hopefully he makes the team next year. I like what he brings.
AnInconvenienceBrah
He'll be back in the OHL, it's what's best for his development. It'll be ideal if we could play him in the AHL next year as he looks ready for that league.
AndyBernard
If he looks as good or better than last year, give him the 9 games. See what he did, not so much points-wise but overall game and if he is going to be a defensive liability. As coach Vignealt always says lol
Canuckz101
Wow! This kid's gonna be good. It wouldn't surprise me if he makes the team in October. He looks NHL ready and we all know Gillis wants to make the team younger and bigger. Jensen definitely fits the bill. He really is a gem. You just feel like whenever he touches the puck, he's going to make something happen. This is exactly what we need in our lineup...a young impact player. Bodee
Apparently received a concussion in Wolves playoff game.
nuck nit
Hopefully he is not badly concusssed. Only a few games at the AHL level to then suffer a concussion is not good.
2011
That wrist shot on the move like that does give me some Naslund comparisons, which makes me confident that this prospect can develop into a quality NHL player. Would be even better if Kassian can grow into that power forward type that everybody thinks he can be, giving us a Bertuzzi / Naslund 2.0 down the road. I doubt either Jensen or Kassian will be as good as Bert and Nassy were, but one can hope. With Lack, Tanev and Connauton due to make the leap in the next year or two (Tanev still needs to find that next level), Vancouvers future looks promising.
