Pears
I was more surprised with the Henrik Lundqvist one 7th round #205, talk about being lucky! I jumped the gun Pekka Rinne 8th round #258, very surprised by both these picks.

NuxFan09
Nashville certainly is much better at drafting but to Vancouver's credit, they've developed more high end talent. Actually, that's not even true. Nashville drafted and developed two D studs that currently make up the best D pairing in the league and a stud in goal. It's elite forwards that they struggle to produce out of the draft, while Vancouver has produced the Sedins and Kesler but the best defensemen they've produced are Ohlund, Edler and Bieksa. nucklehead53
Grabner over Giroux - Hodgson over Karlssen..............
Hyzer
They lack really good offensive talent in Drafts though. I mean, come on. We got Hodgson, Sedins, Keslers... just to name a few.
Beluga Whale
When all your players end up in Philly, then what difference does it make when you have good drafting? What, does everyone think Radulov's staying one second longer in Nashville than he has to? And how about Suter? Nashville is making a big push this year because doom is on the horizon. Cheers. keslerian one
Grabner had super-star potential, if he stayed with the Canucks and developed properly through our system he would have easily ended up to be a 30-40 goal scorer. Hodgson is a future point-per-game player, he possibly could have been next season if he stole ice time away from Kesler while playing with quality Canucks wingers on an offensive team. Instead he's burried on the 2nd line in Buffalo with average wingers and a poor offensive team.
thehamburglar
Grabner could be come pretty good if he'd actually put 110% in. Hodgson's captain material. I don't think many seen Karlsson doing what he's done.
