No first rounders for three years? I don't like that idea after what happened with the Ballard trade (passed up on Howden, Kusnetsov etc). What about this?

**Cap goes up to $68,400,000

Vancouver receives: Patrick Kane + Jeremy Morin + Corey Crawford

Chicago receives: Roberto Luongo + Manny Malhotra + rights to Mason Raymond + 2012 2nd rounder

---------------------------

Vancouver receives: Ryan Jones + Curtis Hamilton + 2012 2nd rounder (Edm)

Edmonton receives: Corey Crawford + Yann Sauvé

----------------------------------------

Vancouver receives: 2012 2nd rounder (Cbj)

Columbus receives: Ryan Jones

----------------------------------------

(the blockbuster)

Vancouver receives: rights to Ryan Suter & Shea Weber

Nashville receives: Kevin Bieksa + David Booth + Keith Ballard + Anton Rodin + Marc-Andre Gragnani + Manny Malhotra + Curtis Hamilton + 2014 2nd rounder (Van) + 2012 2nd rounder (Edm) + 2012 2nd rounder (Cbj)

I know we're giving up 10 pieces in this one, but this is probably what its going to take. Remember these are two elite defensemen that we really need.
