Sandro17
http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/joe_colborne MG is looking to get bigger and younger. If we decide to trade Lu to TO do you think Coborne could be a piece of the trade? IMO the trade looks like Lu+22nd overall for Colborne + 5th overall. AndyBernard
Isnt our pick 26th overall? Anyways, right now any news of interest on this team is dead because we are waiting for Gillis to take a deep breath, meet with the Aquilinis and then meet again with Roberto (get his list of teams or whatever the plan will be). Also we are waiting for AV to speak, which I think will be in a day or two. IMO we need more experienced players coming back if we are going to trade for roster players. We already have prospects and will be drafting more as well as could trade for picks. The players we want on our roster need to be younger yes, but not too fresh
Ossi Vaananen
26th? but we didn't even make it past the first round. I know division and conference winners plays a part, but all those teams in the second round onwards should fall behind us in the draft. At worst 22, where is your source for 26th? AndyBernard
The remaining order is determined by the Stanley Cup playoff results.[9] Whichever team wins the Stanley Cup is awarded the 30th and last pick, while the runner-up is given the 29th pick. The teams eliminated in the conference finals are awarded the 28th and 27th picks, with the 28th pick going to the team with the better regular season record. Remaining division winners, then the rest of the field are ranked next, filling in the 26th through 15th picks. In both cases, better records result in later picks.[6] From wikipedia. So take it with a grain of salt lol.

D-Money
LOL @ Toronto trading away another top-5 pick! Burke isn't stupid enough to do that. Even if it was a good deal for the Leafs, the fanbase would lynch him. BB likes Colborne, and the Leafs need a big center even more than they need a goalie. Don't see it as a viable option. Kadri might be available though.
Ghostsof1915
Depends on what we're giving up to get him. In 10 games he got 5 points and was plus 2 on a bad Leafs team. Which raises the question, if Burke loves the kid that much why didn't he play more? Colborne had 39 points in 65 games and had a 0 plus/minus in the regular season, and 3 points in 3 games in the playoffs. If Burke said Raymond straight up for him, I'd drive Raymond to the airport. I'm just not sure what's really a fair deal on a trade for him.

mpt
I could see it being Schenn and the 5th overall or Gardiner and Ashton and a 2nd

goblix
Hard to pass up a skilled 6' 5" center that uses his size. I'd like him on our team, but I think we need to focus on our defense and get a top 6 playmaking forward.
