six-0h-four-
No matter what people say about "The Luongo List", it's all just speculation. Brodeur is 40 years old and may retire at the end of the playoffs. Hedberg is NOT a number 1 goalie. Devil's have lots of young prospects and such, so I say why not the Devils? They're in the second round currently, have some top end talent, and would only get better with Lu. As a throw in maybe we could get the rights to talk to Parise, #itcouldhappen
Kack Zassian
I don't know who said the Devils weren't in on it... Im sure they are more concerned about the Flyers however at the moment...

k_man08
I'd love it if Luongo can be a Devil and he along with Kovalchuk and Parise can form a core for that team for years to come.

k_man08
Luongo is only 33. Most good goalies play til they are 40. Let's not let this media hype about Luongo choking take us overboard. We all know he'll be playing and playing well late into his 30's His cap hit is also manageable. In the short term he is paid just over 6 Million but after a few years he's only paid 3Mill and then 1. so Devils can afford that.

six-0h-four-
You do know that it's Luongo who chooses the 5-6 teams and not Gillis... So why doesn't Lu want to be part of that team? because they are going to take two steps backwards once Parise leaves, and I don't think they are a playoff team next year. JLumme
Makes sense hockey-wise, but maybe Lu said 'I won't play in NJ because its a dump'. Which it is. I'm speculating about the Lu comment though.
Pears
I'd gladly do Luongo, rights to Raymond, Ballard, Malhotra and a 2nd for the rights to Parise and Henrik Tallinder.
