Franz Liszt
Hi. I have been listening to NHL.com, reading articles coming out of New Jersey & Nashville, watching CBC and listening to TEAM 1040, and something about this coming Free Agent Frenzy dawned on me. All of these sources have said something similar in that Zach Parise and Ryan Suter are very good and close friends, so it got me thinking; would they take a little less money (only a little) to play together in Vancouver? If the salary cap goes up to $68+ million, would BOTH Parise and Suter sign here for a great amount? MY OFFER TO BOTH: 8 years @ $50 million each. $6.250 cap hit's each. Would they pull a Brad Richards and choose a place that gives them the best opportunity to win? Or would they go for more money each?
Xbox
Then we really would be the Miami Heat of the NHL

RyanKeslord17
Then how will the pairings look like? Keep in mind that Suter, Edler and Hamhuis are all left handed. Hamhuis-Bieksa Suter-Tanev Edler-Salo ? It would be unfair to play Edler on line 3.

RyanKeslord17
Not exactly. He and Salo are great together, and Edler would still get 20~ minutes per game, its Salo & Tanev who get 15~ minutes. Suter - 22 - 25 mins. Hamhuis - 20 -22 mins. Bieksa - 19 - 22 mins. Edler - 18 - 22 mins. Salo - 14 - 17 mins. Tanev - 14 - 18 mins.

Standing_Tall#37
Lol people are so delusional. Suter if he goes anywhere will be Detroit. Parise will go to NYR, Detroit or Minnesota. Keep dreaming though, dreams are important. We however are rumoured to be inquiring about Getzlaf.

BoKnows53
Parise is overrated. He hasn't been a game breaker in the playoffs. Instead a guy who's been injured all year has Travis Zajac is a beast.

Standing_Tall#37
I hear you. Those teams for Suter and Parise aren't only teams that can win, but also give them good money. But I feel a possible Brad Richards, Dan Hamhuis & Cliff Lee situation, where the player signs for a little less than usual for the best chance at winning. And Vancouver is very close to being the top NHL city. And I didn't know we were interested in Ryan Getzlaf. If true, I like that because he can play center AND wing. Italia2006
Suter makes sense but Parise doesn't. We need to get bigger and we're adding another midget. I think Parise will turn in to another Gionta. Overpayed small guy. He's good and all but not worth overpaying for. We need David Jones and Suter.

Edlerberry
David Jones is overrated. Parise plays much bigger than his size. IMO he plays bigger than any forward on our top 9.
