Patrick Kane is a core player of Chicago and will be for many, many years to come. I don't get why people think he could possibly be traded.

How about a deal sending Jhonas Enroth to Chicago for something that could help Buffalo? He could be a cheaper alternative than someone like Luongo and could potentially be a stud in net.

I think this deal would make more sense for both teams.

Kane + Crawford for Miller + Roy

I think Kane has a bit more value than Miller. Also Crawford can split time with Enroth, while not leaving a stupid amount of goalie cap hit for Chicago. Roy is a smallish offensive forward to replace Kane in the lineup.

I'd say Miller is equal to Kane's value, Roy has a good skillset and the would be overkill to trade Miller and Roy even if Roy doesn't have a overly great value rather he has moderate value.

As for Enroth, I think Chicago wants a real goalie not take a chance on a young one again and again, miller with the defensive core chicago has will be a tough nut to crack. Enroth with chicago wouldn't be as intimating.
