underrated
Taylor Hall has about the same value as the #2 pick. So that means that Columbus trades Rick Nash and Jack Johnson (their two best assets) for Bieksa, Malhotra, Ballard, a second round pick and Rodin! They get absolutely destroyed! Hey Columbus, do you want two bad contracts and one decent defenseman...in exchange for your franchise!?!?!?
gizmo2337
The trade partners could work, but with something more like: To Columbus: Schneider To Edmonton: 2nd pick (Columbus) + 26nd pick (Vancouver) To Vancouver 1st pick Is Schneider for the 2nd (Columbus) realistic though? gwarrior
hall isnt going anywhere. nash has a NTC and i doubt he would waive it to go to edmonton. it would be so sweet to get the 1st and 2nd overall picks, but this dosent seem likely.

Wiznac
???? How about Loungo and a 1st rnd 2012 to Edm for Eberle
Greene02
I think the Oilers would prefer to just keep Hall and Yakupov. Rick Nash would be a downgrade on Hall while making an insane amount of money. Luongo's contract is too long and by the time the Oilers have a realistic shot at making a cup run, he will be in his mid-30's. The Canucks 1st round pick is almost a 2nd round pick. Plus with these new big contracts plus those signings, the Oilers likely wouldn't be able to sign Eberle or RNH. I do like the thought of picking up Johnson and Sauvé though. Paul Bissonnette
Just awful . Howson wouldn't trade Nash alone for that.
