Roberto Luongo / Alex Edler For James Van Riemsdyk

Recommended Posts

I think both teams would benefit greatly from this trade assuming they somehow get rid of bryz(Which they probably can't):

To Van: JVR + 2nd

To Phi: Luongo

JVRS value is at an all time low and there fans are not happy with him at all this year, He's still a fantastic sniper that drives the net with great speed and he has a great shot.

If they can't get rid of bryz:

To Van: JVR +

To Phi: Alex Edler

A line of:

JVR | Schroeder | Kassian

The only way I could see this working is if the Canucks were willing to take on Bryz's contract and waive him or trade him for peanuts to anyone that would take him.

To Philly: Luongo

To Vancouver: Bryz + JVR + 2nd

Then see if TO would take him lol:

To Toronto: Bryz

To Van: Reimer + 2nd

I know this would never happen but for schiz and giggles.

I'd trade Luongo/raymond/2nd for Schenn and Kadri

Then trade Ballard/Kadri for Subban

Sign Parise on July 1st.

Sedins - Burrows

Booth - Kesler/Schroeder - Parise

Higgins - Schroeder/Pahlsson - Hansen

Lapierre - Malhotra - Kassian

Hamhuis - Bieksa

Edler - Schenn

Subban - Salo/Tanev/MAG

Schneider

Lack

Done.

Do the Canucks really need yet another left-handed LW? Or another left-handed RW? I wouldn't think so. But, if they lose both Burr and Higgins after next season, I might change my opinion. But, as the roster stands as of right now? I don't think he and that remaining 6-year $25.5m contract is what's needed. He's not Rick Nash, you know?
