Azzy Mahmood
This kid could make the grade this summer - and in 3/4 years is going to be some defenseman. Good signing.
Phamda
He's a better version of Connauton. Great offense but needs to work on his defense.
DownUndaCanuck
With Montreal likely to pick up the 2nd best forward at this years draft as well they're going to be a force in about 3 to 5 years.
sirensong
No, he'll be lucky if he becomes a PK Subban. Even Canadiens fans were fed up with his lack of defensive awareness. Great skater, great passer, great offensive defenseman, but he will need at least a year or two in the AHL to learn the crafts. Erik Karlsson is actually pretty good defensively. Guest Dasein
You can't be serious? Either you haven't seen him play or don't know good defense. karlsson is a MASSIVE liability who constantly gets caught up ice and gives up odd man rushes. He gets pushed off the puck time after time in his own zone and has almost zero ability to contain anyone down low. And it's all worth it and the Sens will take it in stride because hes by far the best offensive Dman in the game. Beaulieu is direct compareable to Karlsson. But he has more size and can be more effective physically. Hes not quite the offensive force Karlsson was at the same age but who is. Hes going to be a 50-60pts NHL dman in the not too distant future. Another year in the Q and its off to the NHL for him in all likelyhood.
