[Proposal] Key trades and signings

Recommended Posts

To Tor:

Roberto Luongo

Jordan Schroeder

Van 2012 2nd round pick

To Van:

Joe Colborne

Luke Schenn

Toronto gets a top Level goalie and a solid prospect in Schroeder.

Vancouver gets a very good prospect and a defensemen ready to make an impact, who really needs a change of scenery.

To Stl:

Chris Higgins

Yann Sauve

Rights to Mason Raymond

Van 2012 1st round pick

Van 2013 3rd round pick

To Van:

Rights to David Perron

Rights to Chris Stewart

Vancouver gets a top 6 forward in Perron who could be great playmaking winger for Kesler and Booth. They also get a top 9 forward and a 1st round pick.

Stl gets a very reliable, 2 way forward in Chris Higgins who could play anywhere in the lineup. They also exchange a struggling player in Stewart for a player who was struggling in Vancouver, the 2 players are swapped. STL also gets a good Prospect in Sauve.

Higgins+Sauve+1st for Perron

Raymond+3rd for Stewart

To NYI:

Joe Colborne

Kevin Conouton

Keith Ballard

To Van:

Ryan Strome

NYI 2013 4th round pick

Vancouver gets a top prospect in Ryan Strome, who has completely filthy hands, and is a great 2 way force.

NYI gets a very good prospect in Colborne, and a good prospect in Schroeder. They get depth on D in Keith Ballard who could also be the steal of the trade if he finds his way back into a top 4 defenseman.

(these totals are compiled without the bonus cushion)

SALARY CAP: $70,300,000; CAP PAYROLL: $63,839,167; BONUSES: $850,000

CAP SPACE (23-man roster): $6,460,833

PP1:

Sedin-Sedin-Stewart

Kesler-Edler

PP2:

Perron-Strome-Booth

Hamhuis-Shultz

1st line= Sedins with a big powerforward in Stewart, pretty much the dream linemate.

2nd line=3 big bodies, all over 6ft, 200lb, and fast. Perron is the passer and Kesler and Booth crash the net

Line 3=Defensively responsible, gritty, fast and skilled. Can create offensive chances.

Line 4=Energy line, gritty but responsible

All the defense lines have one offensive player and 1 defensive player.

Schneider as the starting goalie, but if he doesn't do too well or needs rest, he has a very reliable backup in Nittymaki.

This lineup is much grittier, and bigger than last years, but it still has the speed and skill from last years team.

We desperately need more size on our roster so i like the addition of Stewart (even though your going to get ripped apart by other people saying he's a headcase) he's has alot of offensivce upside and theres no harm in playing him with the Sedins. I think we should keep Colborne if only because he's 6'5 but also very sound in his own end and has some offensive up-side as well.

You forgot to Add Schroeder into the Toronto deal, you just said they got him but it didn't show it.

And there is no way St.Louis would do that.

Perron > Higgins + Sauve.

I doubt they would even trade him if it was just: Perron for Higgins, Raymond, Sauve, 3rd.
