nd84
As you can tell, I'm bored. Smashian Kassian
Edmonton gets ripped. I would take the 1st Overall rather than that package. (without the 2nd).
Tortorella's Rant
I'll say fat chance just based on how many pieces are involved.

Smashian Kassian
I actually don't think they got ripped that much. Yes they didn't get much, but they didn't give up much, it was basically the 1st pick, Barker, Omark, and Lander for the 2nd pick, Gilles, Schenn and Lombardi

Greene02
It all depends on Yakupov and Murray. Personally, I've found that Murray's ceiling has recently risen in people's eyes and it seems to be based on nothing more than hype machine running while after he made Canada at the WC's. All season he was considered to most likely be a #3 Dman that could also captain a team. Suddenly now he's a franchise Dman. At the same time, Yakupov's ceiling has apparently dropped. He was a potential 50 goal scorer that was going to make Columbus not miss Rick Nash. He was a franchise player. Then the Oilers win the lottery and now he's an injury prone Russian that may run to the KHL. I like Murray and I'd love to have him on the Oilers but the drop off from Yakupov to him is fairly significant. This is more of a Tavares/Hedman situation than a Stamkos/Doughty(although that really isn't close anymore either) situation.
