Edited the Franson part. I had him in the proposal originally but changed it.

Schenn has the potential to be the ideal partner for Pieterangelo that their looking for. They also gain a very good player in Tanev for a struggling player in Stewart. Perron is better than Schenn by a bit in value, but Tanev has much more value than Stewart.

I dont think Tanev has more value than Stewart...

I like Tanev, but he's only played 54 games, and hasn't been spectacular (good, but not spectacular). Stewart had an off year, but he could very easily return to his 25+ goal play.

Stewart is a super lazy player. I would like the game he plays if he wasn't so inconsistent and if he had a better work ethic. If he can fix those two things, he has all the tools to be a star in this league. But, as of now, he is definitely not the type of player Gillis would want on the Canucks.
