Signing: The Buffalo Sabres have signed their 2011 draft pick, F Joel Armia to a three year ELC

Joel Armia- Three-year deal worth $3.6 million dollars ($1.2 million per season ($900,00 base salary with $300,000 per in bonuses).

Sources Say:

Detroit is looking to move their 8th overall pick and is exploring all avenues. Moving up or down, as well as trading out of the first round entirely have been discussed, but it does not seem anything is imminent at this time.

I just noticed this today, but Scott Hartnell is missing from my roster page. I am pretty sure it was minor mishap when he was taken off the UFA list, and was forgotten to be added to the main roster (2nd line LW).

I didn't see you assign him anywhere, I might have missed it. When he was re-signed I moved him from the pending free agent list to your master roster page. Will place him 2nd line LW now. Thanks :)

^ that is the number one reason i posted a full roster accounting two spots up here...I was not seeing a number of players on my team page. Curt, after you update my page with the above roster lineup, please let me know if anyone is unaccounted for by me. I feel I got them all looked after, but have a nagging idea I missed one.

Mattias Sjogren has signed with Linkopings of the SEL. While we are sad to see such a talented player leaving our system, we wish Matti a great career in the Swedish Elite League. As per league rules we request that Mattias Sjogren be removed from our team sheet.

25-årige och elitseriebekante Mattias Sjögren är klar för Linköpings HC. Centern har skrivit på för tre säsonger och kommer närmast från AHL-laget Hershey Bears. "Det ska bli riktigt kul. Jag har mycket revansch i mig och jag vet att jag kan få ut mycket mer än vad jag fick ut i USA den här säsongen. Vi har ett bra lag och det känns som att vi kan bli farliga den här säsongen" säger Sjögren till LHC:s hemsida.

Mattias Sjögren lämnade Sverige för spel i Nordamerika inför säsongen 2011/2012, när han skrev på ett tvåårskontrakt med Washington Capitals. Efter 19 AHL-matcher med Hershey Bears blev han utlånad till Färjestad där han avslutade säsongen, för att sedan återvända till Hershey Bears.s
