Special Ed
Vanilla Vodka and Coke is really good. If you spend the $$ on Grey Goose, just plain coke is perfect, since it is so much smoother than most of the Smirnoff/Polar Ice type brands

pimpcurtly
Never really been a vodka fan but with OJ it isn't too bad. Also don't mind those pineapple palm bays.

wtpasc
Yes, Caesars are the only tolerable vodka drink. But you've got to go with a pickled green bean, not celery. That's the real secret.

Mr.DirtyDangles
with higher proof whiskey it is preferable to add a small amount of cold water. It enhances your ability to taste the more subtle flavors of the whiskey.
wtpasc
Actually it is 2 fingers of hot water to one finger of Whiskey, Scotch or Rye . This will bring out all the oaky and woody flavours .

Mr.DirtyDangles
Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tip me off with a drink made with vodka that doesn't taste like cr*p? It should be fairly easy to make, only contain like one or two other things apart from the vodka. I've been going with Schwepes earlier, but I'm tired of that now... :D Thanks. Edit: The vodka I have costs like $10 a bottle, so I'm not willing to spend too much money on the drink :D (I'm cheap as hell)
