So is Gragnani qualified or not?

well then I'm wondering why they had him play all those games if they were gonna let him walk? And I think he does have some upside, despite what everyone says. Yell at me if you want. I thought we were going to sign him and let him spend a year or two in the minors, that would've been best for him.

Hes not qualified to be in the NHL if you ask me. However;

If possible, I think they should hang onto him to play in their farm system. Apparently he was a PPG guy at that level. Thats fairly unique.

But I think he would have to hone his defensive game before making the next jump, which would be a daunting task from what I have seen,

Gragnani will find an NHL team this offseason no doubt. Given the right opportunity ( as with any player ) he will be a servicable player in the NHL and likely put up points against Vancouver lol. He could very well be a Power play specialist type player in the NHL.

What many people fail to realize is that Gragnani only got some NHL time/experience with the Sabres last season because of the injury filled 2011-2012 season that the Sabres had. These are two separate posts here in the Canuck's forums that I made in April about MAG:

Gragnani- In my opinion he will not be a part of the Canuck's organization for more than another year or two. The Canucks are just too good of a team for him to ever crack the lineup in any meaningful way.

.... MAG will never be more than average. That's where the 'nucks fans should be pissed.
