My 2012-2013 Lineup

Recommended Posts

Trade Luongo for Franson+ (I don't really care to work out details, all I care is that Franson is the centerpiece. Throw in who/what you want in there). Say what you want about this deal, whether or not Luongo goes to Toronto, if he does, I'm pulling for Franson. He's still young, he's right handed, can play the powerplay, has a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0yMmJrzW2o, and is from here and played junior here, I'm sure he'd love to play here.

Sign Cody Franson 2 years @ 1.5mil/year

Sign Shane Doan 3 years @ 4.5 mil/year.

Sign Jay McClement 1 year @ 1.55 mil.

Re-Sign Dale Weise 2 years @ 665.5K/year.

Re-sign Eddie Lack 3 years @ 900K/year.

I assumed these contracts^ would be similar to what they're current ones are. Even if they're not we've got 3+ mil cap space on my roster.

I've got no idea how much Franson would sign for. Tell me what you think.

Not sure the details of Raymonds arbitration, assume it will be around 2.25mil

Also heard rumblings about Salo getting resigned, if he wasn't and doesn't make it on to the roster then whatever he would be around the 3rd pair anyways.

sedin sedin burrows 14.2

booth kesler doan 13.5

higgins lapierre hansen 4.35

volpatti kenopka prust 2.5

hamuis bieksa 9

edler allen 6.5

tanev garrison 5.4

jurcina .9

corey 4

lacky .9

64.35 (69.65 with lou)

If we can end up with draft picks for ballard alberts and raymond and couple of top picks and prospect for lou we will stay strong in the future plus have around 6 mil cap space once lou is gone

I like the fact that this is a very tough lineup and can really punish ppl. If we could have this lineup and not take stupid penalties then I like it

I don't know what all the hype about Doan is, he's passed his prime and will only last a few more mediocre seasons. We should look at getting Garrison on D, and add some grit on the last line. Mason Raymond will either be on the current roster or traded, he's better than a scratch.
