First I wanna say I love rypien, but nothing angers me more than when I hear so called enforcers whine about their jobs and being depressed about how they earn their minutes. You get paid a lot more to do a lot less then a competitive martial artist athletic counterpart . Suck it up you pansies

When Lecavier and Iginla fought, you could make a good case for it. When stupid goon fight's stupid goon because Marchand hit somebody low, then no, you cannot.

The staged fights need to go and that means fighting should be gone.

Yes, there will be those that tell me to watch figure skating, but watching fighting on TV does not make one tough. There will be those that ask how players will police other players from cheap hits. That should never be in the realm of a player to decide, officiating should always be calling the letter of the law game in and out, playoffs or otherwise.

I'm not a big fan on fighting. I fully support violence in hockey but not stopping the game so two players can punch each other. Get your aggression out with hits, that's the stuff I like.

Also, I am reading "The Code" by Ross Bernstein right now. Great book about fighting in Hockey, check it out.
