[Proposal] Send An Offersheet to Lars for 3.134 per year for 2 years.

Only compensation is a 2nd round pick. Of course GMMB would probably match it, but there's always the chance he doesn't think he can.

Eller's stats from last season don't look that phenomenal, but do think twice about that. (16 goals, 28 points)

He logged a lot of PK time. MTL's PK was 2nd in the entire league.

He was 4th on Montreal goals in his 2nd full season of hockey, yet was played like a defensive center most of the year, including 5-on-5.

Lars is still improving, his point total nearly doubled last season from the year before, yet he still barely spent any time on the PP.

I think he could be the perfect fit as he's defensively responsible enough to take on 3rd line center duties once Kesler is back and can battle Jordan Schroeder for top-6 time while Kesler is out. He's not a huge physical force, but he's strong at 6'0/200 pounds and on the statsheet throws about a hit per game.

He has to develop some offensive consistency, but he has the tools (remember he was once drafted 13th overall).

He has a really nice wrist shot and could be very useful as a replacement for Kesler on the 1st PP unit at least for the start of the year:

His giveaway-to-takeaway ratio was also quite high and both Montreal coaches trusted him in all of the hardest situations. In a more consistent environment where there's more offense (Canucks) I think Eller could be a 38-42 point 3rd line center next year and even more in the future.

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows

Booth - Kesler - _______

Higgins - Eller - Hansen

Malhotra - Lapierre - Kassian

Could end up being a pretty strong healthy forward group.
