The Sedin's 6th Sense
To Minnesota: - B. Ryan - L. Sbisa To Ananheim: - D. Heatley - K. Brodziak - MIN 2nd - prospect Minny gets help on D which they need and get a prized top 6 forward. Anaheim gets a top 6 forward in Heatley, the 2nd line centre they've been waiting for, a 2nd, and a prospect. Seems fair imo.
timberz21
I think Minnesota is the winner. 1vs1 i'd take Ryan over Heatley because of age, salary and toughness While brodziak is not bad, I think Sbisa has more potential/upside.
RXnucks975
The Ducks are going to want some picks back, and I get the feeling that they'd like to get rid of veteran players to rebuild (not retool) so i doubt they have interest in Heater. Maybe Setoguchi and through in a 1st rounder, either way I don't want Minny to have that many top grade scorers Parise-Koivu-Ryan Cullen-Bouchard-Heatly
Wolverinė
Ducks get fleeced. I highly doubt any team has much interest in Heatley, he's old and slow and will only put up 20 goals max for 7M+... that's not an asset coming back. Brodziak had a good year but I wouldn't count on a repeat. A 2nd round pick doesn't salvage this deal. Unless that "prospect" is Granlund, this doesn't work. CanucksFanMike
Solid proposal.... i think the Ducks lose this deal but Ryan has said he wants out so they may have to settle for a deal like this.
elvis15
Unless Minny's 2nd becomes a 1st (remember, it could be a later round pick now that they've gotten Parise and Suter) and/or the prospect becomes someone like Coyle, there's no way Anaheim does that trade. theman
I think Anahiem may have a budget so this may not work cap wise
Jägermeister
Heatley sucks. Unless that prospect is Granlund, Anaheim loses big (and they still kinda would).
