I can't imagine myself cheering for the Lakers. I'll just be happy for Nash MLB: Seattle Mariners - Haven't seen a game on tv before but I used to listen to them on the radio all the time. NHL- Canucks (obviously), to make things interesting my second favourite is Nashville (been one of my favourites since 98). NBA- Anybody but Miami. Don't really care for the sport in general though. I noticed that most people chose the Patriots, Packers, Steelers, and Giants from the NFL, Lakers and Heat from the NBA. Anyone else notice a bit of a trend? NHL- Wild (because I'm from Minnesota), Pens (the team I started to cheer for in the late 80s when I grew tired of the North Stars failures... and a little known player named Mario.) NFL- Vikings (because I'm from Minnesota), Bills (Jim Kelly... I like a QB that can take a hit) MLB- Twins (see Wild and Vikings) NCAA Hockey- Univ. of MN (yeah... don't think I need to explain anymore) NCAA Football- Nebraska Cornhuskers (my father is from Neb., and on Saturdays after cartoons were over... you had to watch the Cornhusker game if you wanted to keep watching TV.)
