Watermelons
If philly gets weber, those will be very crappy first round picks. Shea weber is worth more than that.

Opmac
@HockeyyInsiderr: Source: Weber offer sheet 14 years under 109M$. #Flyers #Preds You see what he does. Darren Dreger says $100 million. He says under $109 million. Safety blanket right there.
Ossi Vaananen
Wow. Teams are starting to stock pile good players, I worry this might be a baseball-esque oligarchy. Huge deal, I doubt Nashville can throw that kind of money at him, although the cap hit is low at 7.1. Anyone know if any bonuses on the deal, that could be a deal breaker if Nashville can't match a 10mil+ signing bonus.

Rey
Stupid move. Philly just jeopardized their future, and Weber just ran the risk of staying with Nashville for the rest of his life. Lose/Lose.

BobSacamano
Even if it is 4 first rounders, no way Nashville doesn't match it. Weber means everything to that team, they can't afford to lose him and rebuild - their franchise wouldn't survive it. They're best to match it and then trade him for a huge return next year - which they'll get players to help them then and there not four-six years down the road.
