CanucksFanMike
Kesler has a bomb... infact he was put at the point with Burrows in front of the net for streches of last year. But we dont need a forward on the point... our first pp unit is this: D. Sedin - R. Kesler - H. Sedin A. Edler - J. Garrison
PunjabiCanuck
Hansen or Kesler
Dogbyte
No one, we're horrible at giving the puck away on the PP as it is. Especially in the playoffs.

bigpush
Connauton..... I would really like to see him play as the 7th D this season and get him some power play time.
stonecoldstevebernier
I'd go with Henrik or Daniel, with Edler/Garrison on the other side. Sometimes, it's not a huge cannon from the point that you need, but a slick passer with good vision who can spot the open players and find the seams. The Sedins are those kind of players. I'd still stick with Daniel/Henrik/Kesler up front personally, but if somebody was to move back to the blueline, I'd pick one of the twins. oldnews
None. That is my pet peeve. Never liked it. It makes more sense to use a defenseman as a forward - ie. park him in front of the net on the powerplay, but that, ironically, is less common than using a forward on the point. That is why you have defensemen - to play on the blueline - defenseman hold the line better, and shorthanded goals against are backbreakers. I also don't like the message it sends to your defensemen (la ack of confidence in them) when you put a forward in their role.

gurpparmar
No to Bieksa on the 1st unit. I'd much rather have Garrison and Edler or even Hamhuis or Ballard there. Here's what I'd like to see. Sedin - Sedin - Kassian Edler - Garrison Booth - Kesler - Higgins/Burrows Hamhuis - Ballard/Bieksa
Ray_Cathode
I'm just saying incase if starts to go downhill as it did in the last half of the season.

Thirteen
Sedin-Sedin-Kesler Edler-Garrison Higgins-Burrows-Booth Ballard-Bieksa No need for a forward at the point this season and the Canucks need a centre of the 2nd unit. But as we know the Twins/Kes take up about 1.30 minutes of PP time anyways.
the boards
Someone strong enough to hold the boards, and also fast enough to wheel and prevent a breakaway. If not Burrows, I don't know if we have that type of player. I wish we had someone like Ray Bourque. I don't think anyone could let loose a slapper more suddenly than Ray. kanucks1
MG but I would never put a forward unless we are really desprate cause we have good Defense. I would put Booth or Give Kesler another chance. salooooo
73 Percent
Daniel remember that shot from the point against red wings
ThaBestPlaceOnEarth
I'm against forwards playing point on the PP, it's a defensive liability and they don't have the big shot most of the time, if I was coach I would never ever play a forward there on the PP. thehamburglar
Hmmm... Hmmm... Crap. I was going to put Hansen out there, if only because no-one had, yet. Fast, fair shot, and strong enough.
-Vintage Canuck-
Kesler or Burrows. But I hope not. We already have tons of defenders that we can put on the point..... Edler, Bieksa, Ballard, Garrison etc..
HockeyHobo73
I'd put Mason Raymond on the point....... ..... But then I'd be fired the next day....
