Bertuzzi Babe
I've read the entire thread and a lot of your comments are just general stereotypes of the "types" of guys go to strip club. Then you get choked whenever someone makes a general comment about strippers. You're as big a hypocrite as the hypothetical guys from your posts. As for the recruiting, I have a daughter and I don't like it one bit. Is that enough reason to make something illegal? No. It sucks but it's not against the law. I've never been to a strip club but I'm sure there are plenty of girls who go to school and have kids and are single mothers who don't resort to stripping. I know because my mother did it and she could barely speak English at the time.
avelanch
Stripping isnt the sex trade. Sex trade is exchanging sex for money. Stripping is the same as modelling. Its modelling with less clothes on than Victoria secret. Im glad you wouldnt love your kid any less but I would wait until you are in the situation first. The hypothetical is far different than the reality. My daughter is 18 and I would strongly discourage her from it. But at 21 I would not judge her in the slightest. Drybone
ok, stripping is the same as modeling, just like porn is the same as acting.
avelanch
That spin doesnt work. Porn they are engaging in the sex act. Stripping does not. Stripping is modelling with clothes until there is no clothes. Thats it. Can you concede the point or do you have new spin to add?
SukhKular
You clearly missed the point then. And don't recognize sarcasm when it's being used. And please, don't try and tell me it wasn't clear enough because plenty of people got it. You also seemed to have missed the post where I owned my judgmental comment. So....quite clearly, you did not read the entire thread.
Drybone
modelling doesn't usually involve playing with yourself, dryhumping a pole, rubbing tits/arse in people's faces, or grinding on a strangers lap, but sure, they're the same thing. and not all porn involves sex; IE softcore, nudie mags, and everything outside of hardcore porn . Bertuzzi Babe
I did and you don't really make a point at all. You judged people for judging strippers then you got called out and then said you were being sarcastic.

Heretic
This is reaching. You have not proved your original point. Stripping is not part of the sex trade. Prove it is or concede the point.

Drybone
The sex industry consists of businesses which either directly or indirectly provide sex-related products and services or adult entertainment. The sex industry includes adult sex-related products and services such as prostitution, call girls, adult movie theaters, pornography, sex shops, strip clubs, sex-oriented men's magazines, and sex movies and sex channels for television. BDSM is also a large part of the sex industry. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_trade I hate using wikipedia in an arguement, but I can't be bothered enough to find an alternate source. Drybone
It is part of the sex trade today - it wasn't 30 years ago. Did you read my "history" post?

Drybone
I would argue its none of our business how many partners people have or had or whatever, but again its a judgment call.
Buggernut
Whatever happened to the "live and let live" principle anyways? Either you are for personal liberties and freedom, or you are not.
Truculence
Has anyone in this thread yet mentioned that this kind of thing (recruiting high school girls for stripping & sex trade) has been going on for about a hundred years now? I don't want to read through the whole stupid thing.
