I mean Kassian is going to be the a heck of a powerforward, one that we so desperately need since bertuzzi. Then later we could have the WCE 2 with Kassian-Gaunce-Jensen. Kassian is a promising young prospect who has a really big frame and has the potential to be a strong skilled power forward. Why anyone wouldn't be excited about that...i have no idea. Seriously, I don't know why so many believe the Nucks top 6 is so impossible to break into. Kesler has been consistently inconsistent and frequently injured; HIggins shows some ability but seems best in the bottom 6/checking role. Booth shows no chemistry with Kesler and some tenacity but nothing great. Raymond...Meh. Why, if Kassian improves his physical conditioning (which he is doing) is it such a stretch for him to make the top 6? He's big (and still growing), mean, has great hands is young and showing a willingness to work hard to make the team. Given the opportunity, he could be the top 6 PF everyone agrees the Nucks need.
