In 2017, Wentz was MVP of the league, and almost won that despite missing 3 games. The Eagles had a strong o-line and d-line, and were able to run by committee. We had competent receivers, but Agholor would have been considered our number one. The defense wasn't that great (the secondary got exposed if the d-line couldn't provide pressure), but it got the job done most times. Currently, the Eagles don't really have anything. The defense is okay, but nothing special. The offense is abysmal, but that's due to an old, injured o-line and lack of talent. The drafting has been brutal, especially with top picks (Whiteside and Raegor instead of Metcalf and Jefferson). You get either of those two (should really have both) and you have a game plan to build around. Right now we just have individuals, where some can make the odd play, but nothing consistent (even Fulgham has come back to reality). The Eagles have more holes to fill than college guys on spring break, and they might have to start selling off pieces (Cox as an example) to try to become a team again. Dougie P is riding his horse a bit because of his Superbowl win. Might have to give Reich a bit more credit, Im surprised hes gotten so much out of Philip Rivers
Bruce Boudreau
The Eagles need to start by firing Howie Roseman. He is the worst drafting GM in the entire NFL over the past 5 years besides the joke that is the Jets franchise. He has mortgaged the future too long to keep open the teams window for contention giving up draft picks for short term veteran rentals and rewarding ageing overpriced injury prone players like Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson with new contracts in the last 3 years. Now they are crapped out by the cap, he won't be able to plug holes via trades or free agency. The Eagles need to find a star in the draft this year to turn things around. A franchise building block at whatever position would really help. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stat-analysis/2020/nfl-drafting-efficiency-2010-2019 Not surprisingly the Ravens have a great eye for talent and what fits their team when it comes to drafting and development they are at the top the last 5 years, but the Seahawks have been the best over the last decade overall. Was surprised how well the Cowboys and Vikings have done drafting over the last 5 years despite their mostly limited draft capital. Pretty clear coaching is the problem in Dallas and not the drafting. Kansas City is poised to become a dynasty if the salary cap doesn't get in their way as they have drafted incredibly well despite not having a boatload of draft picks to use each year. Roseman doesn't deserve another chance to dig the franchise an even deeper hole by getting to draft again with such high quality draft capital. Still have some hope that Reagor will have a career potential similar to Jeremy Maclin eventually as a solid #2 WR. Dont think he will ever be a #1 type his route running is still too disjointed and he is raw. Jamarr Chase is a no brainer pick for the Eagles. At worst he is the Eagles best WR since Alshon Jeffery in 2017 coming fresh out of LSU playing in the best conference in college football. Seems like a safe pick provided he stays healthy and doesn't trash Wentz anonymously like Alshon Jeffery did (allegedly). Love the attitude and toughness Chase plays with as a WR. He won't back down from the top CBs on opposing teams in the NFL.

Pears
Apparently only getting 30 yards in an entire half is something to be proud of.........

Well.... we are talking arguably the best consensus qb prospect since Pat Mahomes so yeah I'd say so. Scouts have been following the guy since high school. He has all the tools you want in a modern NFL franchise qb.
NucksPatsFan
In this crazy covid season where half the defense is missing and the offense has no playmakers, 2 yards are the difference between 6-6 and 8-4. 1. Game winning touchdown stopped at the 1 yard line in Seattle 2. if Cam went down 1 yard sooner in Buffalo he wouldn’t of fumbled. Non playoff coaches don’t get consideration for coach of the year but this is a season they’ll look back at as one of his best coaching displays when reviewing Belichick’s career Edited December 6, 2020 by NucksPatsFan

How do you lose to the Giants backup qb at home where they were undefeated so far with the Giants having to travel across the country? Fix was in or Wilson was planning private dinner with Ciara a little too early. They must have overlooked them. Biggest upset of the entire season crushed a lot of people's day fantasy/betting wise. They also found another little white slot wr/punt return guy named Gunner Olszewski as well to continue their tradition that Belichick seems to have a big fetish for.
