Would like to see Lincoln Riley give the NFL a shot as well here soon. He obviously has built a reputation as an offensive whiz and qb developer. I could see us targeting Pitts in the draft and getting a QB elsewhere (Goff on the way out, Darnold on the way out, Fitzmagic for a year or 2?, etc.) But tons of time between now and the draft and we have a lot of draft capital this year to make moves. DonLever Posted January 3, 2021 Share Posted January 3, 2021 In the Cowboys/Giants game there was missed call near the end of the game that cost Dallas the game and possibly a playoff berth. 6 minutes left, score Giants 20, Cowboys 19. Giants 3rd and long at Dallas 40, out of field goal range. So QB Jones throw a 10 yard pass to get them into field goal range and made the score 23-19. But the pass should have been ruled incomplete as replays clearly showed the ball was trapped. So instead of only needing to win with a field goal the Cowboys had to go for a TD which they did not do. Cowboys Coach McCarthy made a big mistake by not challenging the call.
