OMG ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

Left the house with the KC/Colts game out of reach. Over, done.

Plan was to drive to Garry Point, drop the tree off with the firemen, then walk around GP for my usual deal.

But, as I dropped off the tree, the Colts scored...was it REALLY 41-38? Holy crap, they were on a comeback tear. I'd shut the game down, loaded the tree and drove the couple miles and they scored a bazillion points? Cool. So, dropped the tree off and parked to hear KC get a field goal. Hmmm.

OK, still within reach...was blown away that they'd apparently made it a game. Left the car idling (sorry green folks). 44-38.

I'll be damned if we didn't have ourselves a game here. What? How?

But yes, we did. So, screw the walk, watch the beautiful sunset from the car and listen to the game. All the resolutioners were glaring at me, probably because like a weirdo I had the radio blaring and car running...ok, I get it, I'll drive around and leave y'all in peace.

Had to pick up veggies at Super Grocer, so I'll slowly cruise there. Pull into their lot. KC with possession, Colts had to play big - did. Stopped them.

Colts get the ball. NO WAY....they do it? They score to take the lead. By now, idling in the grocery store parking lot. Injuries. Time outs. C'mon man, I'm going to run out of gas here. But there's no way I'm shutting this game off (why the hell did I leave the house again?).

Play finally resumes. Shoppers entering the store wonder why a crazy lady is sitting in her car.

Listening vs watching seems to take forever in between plays. Colts D coming up big. Needed to push them back...AND THEY DO IT. Intentional grounding, woohoo.

As the seconds ticked down, they had the best moments of their lives I'm sure. Coming back, they HAD to finish this off and did. Takeover with time on the clock that they could run down.

And, that's how my walk went. I sat my lazy butt in the car and listened to one of the biggest playoff comebacks (ever?...not sure, will have to Google). Wow, glad I didn't abandon that one.

And, the Sports Action ticket is still going (Colts, NO, Canucks)

Wow. Best game I ever didn't watch.

you were idling... <_<

The NFL is likely to change the format next season to where the top 6 records in each conference make the playoffs, and get seeded accordingly.

I doubt they would change the format. They always have articles about major changes but they rarely hold weight. Making divisions pointless will just spark debate on why they even have them and then you will have seasons where teams benefit from weaker divisions and why teams in stronger divisions get punished for winning 1 less game or so.

They have similar debates in the past when entire divisions finished over .500 but teams were left out for poor division team winners who didn't even have better records.

Tough loss, but I'm still proud of my Eagles.

Off-season plan should be to get a reliable safety, among other things.

I would also like to draft a big wr with enough speed to get separation. Cooper is a number three receiver. Really hope they get Maclin back and he can stay healthy and shed his injury prone label but they need to drat a wr in the first three rounds for insurance.

This whole offseas8m should focus on addding some talent to the d via free agency and the draft.

Badly need another free safety. Though Nate Allen and Chung are not very good. Thinking Hasean clinton dix in the first round would be a fit.

Good size and has been taught well in Alabama. Also need to beef up the d line and pass rush. Depth on the cornerback position.

Defence is important. Really wish Jackson and Folks had some chemistry though. McNabb and Vick use to do longbombs to him while I only see Riley getting long bombs now.

Successful first season for Chip

Colts win, Saints win. Im 2-0 so far (page 180).

Tomorrow Cincinnati takes it. I like the Chargers more as a team but the home field and wind chill in Cincinnati is gonna be brutal.

Green Bay over San Francisco. Think the weather in Cinci is gonna be tough? The frozen tundra is gonna be near record lows. Did I hear it right? -35 with windchill factor for the second half? Hope the 49ers have been practicing with frozen footballs.

Today was so good. The Colts game was so much fun. Luck taking the fumble in for the score was hilarious. Designed play lol.

Undecided on who I want to win this game.

I'm trying to think of not only who do the Pats have a better chance of beating, but who between Indy and SD has a better chance of beating Denver in Denver?

SD wins, we get Indy and Denver gets SD. Cincy wins, we get Cincy, Denver gets Indy. Too bad there's no scenario where Cincy goes to Denver. And I like SD in Denver more than Indy.

So, go San Diego

OK, just got my answer...second biggest comeback ever.

And this is true testament to "it ain't over till it's over".

As a long time Bills fan I'm acutely aware of the biggest ever. Funny thing is, it was the Bills' backup, Frank Reich who got it done against the Oilers, not Jim Kelly.

In yesterday's game, you just knew that the football gods were on Indy's side. The Chiefs force a fumble on their own goal line, but the ball bounces off someone's butt and right to the only person on the field who can take it to the house...

Talk about "Luck"...
