Yeah.... alright there

The Seahawks have made 2 Superbowls in their entire existence while the Pats have made 5 in the last 15 years and 9 AFC Championship games out of Brady’s 14 years as a starter. I think they know a thing or two about Championship football.

Please explain to me how what the Pats have done in the past is relevant.

Oh yeah, it's not.

And again, the current Pats team is not playing championship football.

So much for their vaunted defense. Gave up 428 yards at home. Running the ball? 14 yards on 13 attempts. How many times did they pass? 50. Yeah pass 50 times against a legit secondary and just see what happens. That's some real good championship football! /end sarcasm.

Also how many championships have they won in the last 10 years compared to the Seahawks?

You'll soon learn.

I got

New England 24 Baltimore 20 - Flacco throws INT late in 4th quarter to seal the game

I called a 4 point game with Flacco throwing an INT late in 4th quarter to seal the game.

Patriots up by 4 under 2 minutes left and Flacco throws an INT to seal the game.

Holy mother what a roller coaster that was to watch. The defense looked awful in the 1st half, it's almost like the new guys weren't used to the 16 degrees Fahrenheit. Revis looked so stiff and slow, as with Browner and a couple of the defensive tackles.

Had an ugly feel in the pit of my stomach at 14-0, but after Brady and that Ravens player got in a pushing/yelling match, I knew Tom was pissed and there's no way he would lose this game. He goes out, scores 4 touchdowns and puts up 375 yards through the air, including a game winning 4th quarter 5 minutes left touchdown to JoJo. That's the Tom Brady I know and love.

The defense tightened up in the 2nd half. Great adjustments by Patricia and Belichick at half time, game changing adjustments really. The MLB spying on Forsett was an immediate success, the Ravens ground game looked totally different in the 2nd half. Also having Collins fake the rush from the outside and drop back and shadow Flacco's passing lanes disrupted a lot of his timing.

WHERE DID THAT EDELMAN TO AMENDOLA COME FROM? I nearly shat my pants on that play, rewinded and watched it 5 times. Just wow. Oh, speaking of that play call, good job McDaniels you made 1 good play call. Any team that hires him as a head coach might as well begin their search for their head coach after him, because he is not capable in my opinion. I understand only running 13 times in a game where you trailed for 3.75 of the 4 quarters, but some of the play calls in general were just dumb. On a 3rd and 11 he called a play where all 4 receivers didn't run a route longer than 5 yards. Huh?

Full credit to the Ravens. This is why in week 15 I said I hope they don't make the playoffs. I hate them, because Flacco is so damn good in the playoffs. But at the same time, I knew he would throw an INT in a pivotal part of the game, and he did. Outside of that, he actually did play a damn good game, shouldn't hang his head at all. Hopefully he gets his McNuggets tomorrow to cheer up.

Going to touch on the Vereen informing ref of his ineligibility as a receiver. It is fully in the rule book.

Harbaugh is a sore loser for calling the Patriots cheaters for doing that. Brady's response was even better in telling him to study the rule book a little further.

Forget the rule book, common sense would've shown the Ravens that Vereen was ineligible. THERE WERE ONLY 7 PLAYERS ON THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. And he was the 7th one. That automatically makes him ineligible. Is it illegal to outsmart a coach like Belichick did Harbaugh? No. Go cry with Flacco in McDonald's while he eats his McNuggets.

There is no rule in the NFL that says an offense has to conform to the old conventional standards where a receiver lines up as a receiver, a tight end lines up as a tight end, etc. Vereen, who doesn't wear an ineligible jersey number, broke the huddle, went up to the ref and told him hey I'm ineligible on the line of scrimmage, lined up as an offensive tackle, the ref pointed to him, and the the ball is snapped. I'm sorry Harbaugh, maybe you can spend the off season studying the rule book.

One of the best comments

BRADY IS A CHEATER!....I once saw him PRETEND to throw the ball to a certain receiver....THEN...he FAKED it....THEN...He threw it to an open receiver!.....The league really need to look at those deceptive plays also!

Mike Reiss @MikeReiss 3h3 hours ago

Can understand John Harbaugh's frustration at wanting more time from officials, but from this view, no different than declaring OL eligible

Mike Reiss @MikeReiss 3h3 hours ago

What made it unique is that when a defense sees 34 (Vereen) split out wide, even when announced ineligible, natural instinct is to cover him

Mike Reiss @MikeReiss 3h3 hours ago

Referee Bill Vinovich couldn't have been more clear in announcing at stadium that certain receivers were ineligible and not to cover them.

Mike Reiss @MikeReiss 3h3 hours ago

See it more about outside-the-box thinking than any deceptive substitution. Clearly within rules. Forced D to react to something different.

You'll soon learn.

In the last 10 Super Bowls, both the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks have won 1 Super Bowl title. The New England Patriots won their Super Bowl in Super Bowl 38 versus the Carolina Panthers, while the Seattle Seahawks won their Super Bowl in Super Bowl 48 versus the Denver Broncos.

Also, I'm not sure if you're just trolling the magician, or not. In any case, you play to beat the team in front of you. The Patriots chose to be pass happy against a Ravens defense with a front 7 that can challenge any team's front 7 for the best in the NFL, but have a weak secondary. Common sense would dictate you try to exploit the match ups in the secondary instead of run against a stout front 7. The Patriots passed. They threw for 375 yards. Brady scored 4 touchdowns. The Patriots won.

Next week, Blount and Gray could combine for 150 yards and 2 TD's. Would that all of a sudden make them a championship style ?

The Patriots defense had an uncharacteristic off night against a Joe Flacco who decided to show up. Expect them, especially Revis, to be better next week. I'm gonna send Revis some underarmour thermal gear to warm him up.

While you may already be crowning the Seahawks as Super Bowl champions, I'm of the mindset that all 4 teams who play next week have as good a shot to win the Lombardi. Denver looked super dominant all playoffs last year and were outcoached and shut down in the Super Bowl. Just goes to show what you look like in the 3 weeks previous to the big game don't really matter. It's the 2 weeks of preparation from the end of the conference championships to the super bowl kick off that makes the difference.

The Seahawks defense is incredible. And while I didn't watch the game, the stat line shows Wilson had a great game. Does that mean that another brilliant coach couldn't create a game plan to attack certain areas of Seattle to give his team a chance to win against them? You may say no, I say yes. Forget the Super Bowl, either Green Bay or Dallas will provide a tough test against Seattle next week and both teams are fully capable of beating Seattle in Seattle, at the same time Seattle is fully capable of beating both of them. I love the playoffs.

Looking forward to 2 great games tomorrow.

Congratulations to Tom Brady. He now holds the NFL record for most playoff touchdowns ever thrown as he surpassed Joe Montana today. He also now holds the NFL record for most playoff passing yards. He also will appear in his 9th conference championship game in 13 years, a feat Montana never achieved.

Congratulations to Bill Belichick. He the legend is now is tied with fellow legendary coach Tom Landry for most playoff wins ever at 20. Here's hoping he breaks his record next week.

Okay good night. Finished the Pats game around 11, but then sat through that embarrassment of a hockey game by the Canucks. Getting shut out by a goalie that the Utica Comets have beaten 6 times is pathetic.

Buffalo Bills apparently going to sign Rex Ryan as HC. That is going to be a scary defense, were so good last year and they were missing the 2013 DROY in Kiko Alonso for the whole year

Is ot official? I'm glad he's staying in that division. If the Bills can find themselves a decent qb, watch out!

Too bad - I can't stand Ryan and his childish sideline antics.

And for anyone that thinks home field advantage in the NFL isn't that big of a deal, trust me, ....it's everything. Witnessing it 1st hand, man, fans did half the work for the Hawks. Causing havoc for the Panthers to communicate and the team just feeding off it which you could clearly see. Was electric.

Been selling my ST's for the Canucks for the last little bit and after seeing this, I'll probably cancel them after this year. Really boring tbh and it's just people viewing a game and not doing anything. Most they do is "make some noise" or "go canucks go" and the wave. Pathetic. Hawks game was a dynamic new experience. Cheaper than Nucks tix and way more worth it. And honestly, I was awed by the people. No scalpers, everyone went to support the team, everyone knew what they were talking about (even the gals who example in Vancouver don't really know anything but talk like they are know it alms) and were great people. No one was being a dick and I can say from experience they were way well behaved and mannered than Vancouver who you'd assume would treat people better right? Wrong.

Really thinking hard of dropping the Nucks and becoming a Hawks STH. Not a Hawks fan but love the football and atmosphere. Can't get it in Canada so driving down a 1.5 hours to Seattle is well worth it imo.

My buddy dropped his Canucks season tickets, and now has Seahawks tickets and did this 2 years ago. He's never regretted it.

He still loves the Canucks. But the experience at CenturyLink is like no other.

Typical pats fan. I mean, your defense hasn't been lit up or anything.

Not to mention the game isn't even over.

Pathetic.

It’s over. Zilch of a chance the way the refs are calling it on us.

These were posted at 3:43, so that was around ... a few minutes into the 3rd quarter? I have to agree with Wilfred here. What's with the hyperbolic lack of faith?

Oh great! Katy Perry with a special halftime announcement??

Special would be her announcing she's not making "music" anymore.

There's only 2 things I'd wanna see from Katy Perry. 2..very...big...things .. ;)

I don't think I could do that unless I was a Seattle fan. I've been to 2 Seahawks game [1 vs the Patriots, and 1 where I was a neutral fan in a game vs the 49ers] and the atmosphere is insane, even though the Pats lost I left the stadium thinking this is the one of the best days ever.

But for me, I've loved the Canucks since I was like 4 so I have a huge emotional attachment to them, whereas I wouldn't really care if Seattle won or lost if I went to the games as a season ticket. Just financially and personal enjoyment, it makes more sense for me to keep my Canucks ST's, but yeah, the 2 atmospheres are incomparable.

I can't jusitfy spending more than $50 on a ticket for such a boring atmosphere and inferior product. Plus being a season ticket holder from 03-10 and forking out that much cash for no payoff in the end, kinda sucks.
