The Magician
Really? It comes as a shock to you that the 'Hawks are favoured on a canucks forum??? You need to get out a little more. Or go post on some Pats board. 0 Chill Edited January 16, 2015 by The Magician

The Magician
Bro - you're a spaz who was ready to abandon the Pats after a couple of flakey calls. I have much more respect for the other poster than some EMO NFL fan like yourself. Just attacking everyone tonight eh? Unfortunately i’ll be banned if I post my opinion on you. Read your comment again then take a look at yourself and possibly reach out to a counsellor to find out why you snap so easily. I was extremely frustrated with the reffing which led to me saying “the Pats are going to lose this game because of the refs.” I didn’t abandon them at all and I never will. If I would ever abandon (or doubt) them, I wouldn’t be placing bets of over $100 dollars on them every playoff game. Just waiting for the Superbowl boss. As best said by NucksPatsFan, “Put down the blunt man.” One might even call me an "expert prediction-ist" if you will. NucksPatsFan
The guys a beast. Reminds me of Sean Taylor. Was so upset at the time of his murder. He had hall of fame potential. There's not an offensive player in the NFL that he couldn't blow up. One of my favorite players I've watched, and mimicked as a free safety myself. NucksPatsFan
Where's a good place to watch the game? Personally I'm having a bunch of friends over [2 die hard Seahawks fans, a Packers fan, 3 Patriots fans] since we have a theater room. I've always preferred watching with friends at a house than go out, plus beer/alcohol and food is a lot cheaper lol. Choices for going out: Match at the Star Light casino in New West is having a big conference championship Sunday party thing. The "Bud Girls" will be there giving away beer, t shirts and jerseys, they're also giving away a trip to the Super Bowl and a bunch of other stuff. That's the only "organized" thing I can think of to suggest, otherwise most bars will probably just have pitchers of their cheapest beer on sale. TheRussianRocket.
@jeffphowe: Stork isn't practicing. Missed the whole week. He won't play. Crap. On the bright side, he hasn't been placed on the IR so if Pats win, there's a chance he can make it for the SB.

NucksPatsFan
In case anyone was interested in reading an article re: my post about what I heard on the radio about Revis being fired up more than Tom. Kyle Arringtons locker is about three stalls away from where fellow cornerback Darrelle Revis resides inside the Patriots locker room in the bowels of Gillette Stadium. Revis is, by nature, a pretty mellow, quiet guy. But every once in a while, Arrington said hell notice a random outburst from Revis that breaks the silence. Sometimes well be quietly sitting in the locker room and hell be looking at his iPad cussing himself out and Ill be like, Whats wrong with you? Did something happen? Arrington said Thursday. Yes, in fact, something did happen: An opposing receiver might have caught a pass or two on Revis in a game something he deems borderline unacceptable and hell still be ticked off about it two days later. Hell be sitting there looking at film from the previous week, looking at where he can make corrections, Arrington said. Thats the kind of guy he is. Nobody is harder on him than himself. These kinds of guys are hard to come by. Modal Trigger Brady and Revis talk at a practice this season.Photo: AP It didnt take long before Patriots quarterback Tom Brady began noticing the way Revis conducts himself in practice with an intensity that leads you to believe its a game day. Hes one of the most competitive guys Ive been around at that position, Brady said. I mean, he hates when you catch a ball on him even in practice. In Sundays AFC Championship Game against the Colts, Revis will be trying for the third time in his eight-year career to reach his first Super Bowl. He got to the AFC title game twice with the Jets, in the 2009 and 2010 seasons, and failed to make it to the big game. The Super Bowl is made for a player like Revis, whos so good at his craft that he would actually enter the game as a favorite to win MVP a rarity for a defensive player. This is how powerful his impact on the game can be. On Sunday, theres a good chance hell be blanketing Colts top receiver T.Y. Hilton, who had 82 catches for a 16.4-yard average and seven touchdowns this season. Revis also might have a hand in covering one or both of the Colts productive tight ends, Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen, who have combined for 80 catches and 16 TDs. Whomever Revis is assigned to, chances are that player (or players) will not impact the game the way the Colts hope. Even in what was an uneven performance for him in last weeks 35-31 playoff win over the Ravens, Revis still prevailed in the end. Ravens receiver Steve Smith had three catches for 44 yards and a TD on Revis in the first quarter. Smith finished the game with three catches for 44 yards and that TD. He caught a touchdown earlier in the game, Revis said afterward, and after that he got erased. Revis erases opposing receivers like a mob hit man on the job. He remembers every play made on him not just a touchdown or a long play, but every catch a guy has on him, Patriots safety Devin McCourty said. I tell him all the time, You know youre the best when you give up three or four catches and people try to say you didnt have a great game. When people talk like that you know exactly why this guy is clearly the best. When it was suggested to Revis he needed to rebound from last weeks performance, he found it difficult to accept that even though in his mind he knows he was not at his best. Everyone has their opinion, but I have a job to do and we won the game, Revis said. I have had balls caught on me before in the past. When informed of Bradys comment about how much the cornerback detests having a single ball caught on him even in practice, Revis said: Thats just been something Ive had through my career, something that I just grew up with from high school, college and even now. Just trying to be great, man. I give a lot of guys that same credit Tom, Gronk [tight end Rob Gronkowski], [receiver] Julian [Edelman] a lot of guys on this team have that self-motivation where theyre hard on themselves and want to improve and get better. I think thats why were here.
