Hey Gman, I'm just wondering - did you get those tickets off a secondary market or first hand from the official license partners of the league? Because the Hawks game I went to, there were no hard copy tickets...every ticket had to be printed to certify there would be no fraud...is there something similar like that for the SB too? I know from years past people that collect SB tickets they have hard copy but do you know if they'll keep em that way for this SB? ..don't want you getting robbed or anything

These tickets came straight from the hands of the Carolina Panthers owner. No worries here about getting robbed. However a friend of a friend of a friend got screwed on their tickets. Apparently they had spent about $1200 just to get down here and their tickets fell thru. Not sure all the details on where they got the tickets from and all that, but that sucks big time.

Went down to Super Bowl central and NFL experience last night and it was insane. Couldn't do much in the way of the interactive stuff cuz lines up were insane. Also had my 4 year old with me who I had to carry around all the time. Lineups just to get autographs were crazy. At the time I was there it was Aenas Williams and the better looking McCourty. I also saw Nate Burleson and Marshall Faulk.

There was actually 2 other players who were taking pictures with fans, but I had no idea who they were. One was wearing a Cowboys shirt and I want to say it's Dan Bailey, but I have no idea. The other guy looked short with dreads. Could be anybody. I'll post pics next week of everything.

Also if anyone listens to the fox, my sister was on the radio talking about the SB at 4:10 yesterday. I'm friends with Jeremy Baker and he asked me, but I'm not a talker and my sister is.

Also it absolutely poured rain here all day yesterday. It's still raining a little bit today too.

Damn man, sucks for that guy who got screwed. Nice to know you're not in the same boat though. And lucky you....sounds like you're having a blast. Knowing how America does up the SB and all their festivities, it's probably nothing compared to back home. Enjoy your days and fracken the game tomorrow too :P

Fines are automatically taken from paycheque(s) just like they are in the NHL. He would have to retire to avoid those fines. Even then, the NFL could sue him if they wanted to be vindictive.

You are being too kind when you say Goodell is a clown. There's a whole bunch of nasty but true adjectives you could have used preceding that.

To add insult to injury, the amount of money he makes is absolutely ridiculous. Last year, he pulled in 44 million...

What makes me laugh is that the NFL is considered a not for profit organization, but they still pay Goodell that amount of money.
