That's hilarious Johnson was gifted great teams at the U, same can be said about Switzer during his NFL years. Pete revived the USC brand won a couple NC, Rose Bowls. Then came back to the NFL proceed to win a SB, and almost another one the next year. While I will admit that he isn't perfect (see his early NFL days) he is a great coach and deserves to be in that company

WIn and they get Seattle, lose and they face Green Bay back to back. If I was coach of Minny, I'd put in the 2nd string and lose ... face GB instead of Seattle any day. GB trending down, Hawks trending way up.
c00kies
I see the Hawks making it to the NFC Championship at the very least. A couple of the big threats have started to trend downward, which leaves the NFC open for the taking by the Hawks. The AFC is also interesting this year. I can see these playoffs being more unpredictable than the past two, that's for sure.

Neversummer
Teams aren't even waiting for Monday to fire their coaches. Black Sunday casualties - Cleveland, SF, Philly (last week) ... Others on hot seat - Giants, Colts, Tennessee, New Orleans, San Diego

Then you have to march right back into Lambeau and try to beat them.
Jiggs50
Almost feels like the Packers have run the same lame offense all year only to unleash in the playoffs. Guess we'll see.
Green Building
Their offense is pretty lame without Nelson. It's hard to imagine the Giants without Coughlin as coach. Is he 2nd only to Belichick for length of coaching tenure? edit: Marvin Lewis in Cinci is 2nd. Well, from an ownership perspective, a playoff game ... ka ching, even it it is one and done. But yah, from a strategic point of view ... coach should have "rested the starters" and take your chances with GB.

The game being in the Jungle helps too. GG to you guys if Brady's ankle injury is serious. Anyway, we'll have a fun path to the Super Bowl if we get past Pittsburgh... RUPERTKBD
The end of yet another disappointing season... ...the only consolation being the Bills ruined the Jets' chances at the postseason yesterday. It's not quite the NCAA championship, but winning the Rex Bowl is a nice way to finish.

Two of the best Coaches in the game are also over 60: Belichick is 63. Carroll is 64. Also in college, Nick Saban is 64. He is easily the best coach in college ball the last half decade or so. Seems most deserving of all college coaches to get a big time NFL gig. The NFL guys are just either retreads or unknown assistants. Not many seemingly hot candidates this year.

It will be interesting to see if 2 teams share a stadium. No matter what happens, looks like at least one ownership group loses. Well it's kinda like how the Giants are playing in New Jersey yet they're called the New York Giants actually, I didn't realize the Jets shared the same stadium too lol Edited January 5, 2016 by Apple Juice
