Stop lying Chip. No one can fix Kap. Dude can't throw a 10 yard slant...

The Chip Kelly system is qb friendly for guys like Kaeperknick who struggle in a pro style offense. In Kellys system the field is split in half and the reads are simplified since most plays are predetermined. Kap is still a great athelete and he has regressed but his throwing mechanics were never great to begin with.

He needs to get back to shotgun simple reads read option style play where he can rollout to throw on the move or takeoff and run like he gashed Green Bay and Seattle in the playoffs 3 years ago.

Wow expected KC to win but not that easily.

Also I thought the Bengals had this game but it took Big Ben getting hurt for them to get going.

Denver and New England likely matchup on Championship weekend would only befitting one last Manning vs Brady.

Full day of football tomorrow hoping for a little higher scoring and more competive games tomorrow.

Can't wait!

I feel really bad for the Texans. Their D could only do so much with a trash performance from a trash quarterback. Couldn't get any offence going. I wouldn't bring Hoyer back after this performance. Throw everything from the regular season away. This game would be the reason why I would want Hoyer to not be back in a Texans uniform next season

TSN:

Sports bring out every emotion in players and fans. You can go from high to low, whether you are watching or playing a game, in the matter of seconds.

While the games, especially playoff ones, are very intense, especially when facing a division rival, emotions sometimes get the best of players and fans, in turn showing the world the ugly side of sports.

That was the case Saturday night in the Pittsburgh Cincinnati Wild Card game. After taking a huge hit, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was forced to leave the game with a shoulder injury, with his team leading we may add.

As he was being carted off, Bengals fans decided to cheer and throw beer at him.

Roethlisberger would have the last laugh though, as he came back into the game to lead the Steelers on a game winning drive, knocking Cincinnati out of the playoffs. Although sometimes fans lose grip of their emotions, behavior like this disrespectful and disgraceful and it has no place in any sport.

if thats the case, people are dumb. i really do not understand cheering because a player got injured. props to big ben for going out there. cant ask much more from a leader of your team

I agree that throwing crap on the field is weak behavior, Yeah, people are dumb, but the Steelers and Bengals have hated each other for quite a while and that trickles up to the fans. If you had watched the game you'd have seen a pretty gnarly hit (by a Steeler) to the helmet that resulted in a KO. Fans don't get the breakdown from TV commentators in the stadium. All they do is see the replay, see no flag, see their man dead on the field, then lose their minds. No one should be surprised that the crowd would cheer an eye for an eye. Talk about division rivalry.

Pulled up a little injury history between these 2 teams this morning because I was curious.

1983: Pittsburgh’s Keith Gary twisted around Ken Anderson's helmet. Anderson missed the next three games.

2005 wild-card playoff: On the Bengals’ second offensive play from scrimmage, Carson Palmer’s knee ligaments were torn after Steelers lineman Kimo von Oelhoffen hit the quarterback low.

2008: Hines Ward breaks Bengals linebacker Keith Rivers' jaw on a block. The injury ended Rivers’ season.

2013: Bengals punter Kevin Huber breaks his jaw after he's hit by Terence Garvin. Huber also suffered a broken vertebrae in his neck and missed the rest of the season.

2014 Week 17: The Bengals’ Reggie Nelson injured Le'Veon Bell in the regular-season finale. Bell ends up missing the Steelers' subsequent playoff loss against the Ravens. Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green also suffered a concussion in that game, which caused him to miss the Bengals’ playoff game the next week.

2015 Week 8: Bell had his knee twisted awkwardly underneath him as Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict tackled him. Bell suffered a torn MCL and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.

2015 Week 14: Andy Dalton breaks thumb making a tackle on Stephon Tuittafter throwing an interception.

2015 wild card: Giovani Bernard appeared to be knocked out when he was hit in the chin with Ryan Shazier's helmet.

2015 wild card: Vontaze Burfict drives Ben Roethlisberger to the ground. Roethlisberger was carted off the field with a shoulder injury. Later, Antonio Brown is hit in the head by Burfict, who was penalized for unnecessary roughness. Brown was diagnosed with a concussion.

Wow. Just finished watching the Bengals-Steelers game. What a game.

Felt bad for the running back that lost the ball. Hill?
But then wanted the Bengals to lose when Burfict gave that nasty headshot. What an idiot.

Very entertaining and engaging game. But unfortunately some of it was for the wrong reasons.

This is where the emotional and passion fueled energy crosses over the line.  It's a game/sport.  I am so heavily invested in my team that I have a hard time reeling it in...but I've learned to always take a friendly "we're all in this together" approach.

That game took it to thug proportion and was actually kind of scary.  They had security expedite post game interviews and rush Roethlisberger off the field, but that's losing the point of it all.  Sportsmanship...even in heated rivalries where teams hate one another.  It's all said and done once the clock ticks down and this isn't the street, it's a playing field.  All those kids who want to play need role models who keep their hostility in check.

I know how it can get out of hand....but to continue on that track becomes an individual responsibility.  Roid rage?  Is that what sports are becoming?
