RUPERTKBD
Also your punter with one of the dirtiest plays I've ever seen last night. And he was celebrating after that horse caller and still celebrating after seeing Jackson hurt. Should have been an ejection in my opinion. Jackson was hurt on that play? I must have missed that. (as well as the "celebration") Nothing on it on Riderville.com....I didn't even hear Glen Suitor complaining about it, or the "dirtiest play you've ever seen"... Was at the game so didn't hear the commentating. But I was expecting them to make a bigger deal about it on the post game show and they didn't. Grapefruits
At the Lions home opener one of the Riders fans was giving me the gears about the attendance and Riders fans support their team no matter what. Must be why their attendance has dropped from 32,228 for the home opener to only 26,159 last night.

Tony Romo
All the flavours in the world and you choose salty. I'm a casual CFL/Rider fan at best, riders arnt going to win many games without Durant, so I don't really care about the loss, I hate seeing a punter Giving a player a potential serious injury with a dirty tackle. And celebrating after it I couldn't believe it.
Tony Romo
They didn't make a bigger deal of it because it wasn't as dirty as you say it was. Come on, if that happened on BC you guys would be calling for his head. I'm not a delusional Rider fan lol. The fumble should have been BC ball and I was mad about that. I'd rather watch a good football game and the Riders lose, than a bad game and they win.

Since 2007 we have been one of the better teams in the league minus 1 year. But before 2007 our attendance was pretty bad, I remember because we started getting season tickets because every home game was blacked out. Van_City123
A healthy Lulay, is a very dangerous Lulay. He's one of the best when hes got his full health. Over 100 yards rushing yesterday, That was very impressive. Great win for the Lions yesterday.

No, it was a horse collar tackle like most other horse collar tackles. I've see much worse.
RUPERTKBD
I won't get into the "dirty play" debate anymore than to say I honestly didn't see it, nor have I heard anything since the game, except from a couple of Rider fans. As to the attendance at the game, I have to cut fans in Regina some slack. The weather was absolutely brutal at the start of the game and I don't blame people for not wanting to venture out into a downpour like that. Easy to criticize when your team plays it's home games indoors... Edited July 18, 2015 by RUPERTKBD

After what he has gone through over the past few seasons it's great to see,

When that happens, the rest of the league better look out....

I'm really liking the way it looks. Shown promising signs since preseason. Not sure how many have seen this video it's from last week after the game at BC Place. Really shows what Travis means to the team. http://www.bclions.com/video/index/id/112617 Edited July 18, 2015 by Grapefruits

Durant is a much better quarterback than Glenn. Running throwing decision making and leadership. Defence is obviously the main problem but we arnt winning a grey cup without our quarterback. TV must have not shown it I guess. It was like he was taunting him for being hurt.

Now they're singing the QB's name, and you can tell how much that and the win itself meant to Lulay. Durant is a much better quarterback than Glenn. Running throwing decision making and leadership. Defence is obviously the main problem but we arnt winning a grey cup without our quarterback. TV must have not shown it I guess. It was like he was taunting him for being hurt. I don't think he was taunting the injury itself. I don't think it's fair to assume that much. I think he was just pumping himself up for being able to stop him as the last man, even if he knew he took a penalty. Though it's funny that you're not satisfied with Glenn right now, as he's playing better now than he was all of last year. This is about as good as his decision making and awareness gets. We would have been lucky to receive this much last season.

If that was the case..I agree..taunting after an injury is bush league...I agree Durant is a much better QB...but it wasnt offence that killed the Riders lastnight..380-400 yds passing should get it done..Glenn can have some good games..but its your turn this year..when is Durant back..is there hope to salvage the season...I have a feeling Chamblin will be gone soon.
