Pick by the Lions...whew, needed that with the Stamps driving.  They've played a good game...hope they can nail it down.

Did not like that the bunny was on the field....that guy was FREAKED OUT!

Also...hope Rainey's ok.

It should not have been that close.  Mitchell was having a terrible game. But good on the boys for the gutsy win!  They looked determined to get the W. Reilly just seems more comfortable and in command of the team this year.  Our defence played awesome.

What a performance from the defense!  Yamasaki however, is giving me heart palpitations every time he takes the field.

That was a pretty ugly game sans first half.

The lions have really lacked a strong running game for a long time now. Also have not really had a legit consistent return threat since Chris Rainey was younger a few years back.

The fact the BC lions can't find and convince a speedy quick return guy cut by an NFL team to come up North speaks volumes about their talent evaluation or lack thereof.

There was a time BC had a CFL rookie of the year contender every other season.

Joe Smith, Stefan Logan, Cam Wake, Martell Mallett.

It's Ben forever since they found their own young stud American qb,rb,wr  kick returner or any position really.

Now they are still relying on a 33 plus year old Rainey as their main return guy 3ven though he is injury prone and doesn't have the durability to handle taking hits anymore.

Their best and most exciting player might be Lucky Whitehead who had a nice cup of coffee in the NFL and has the burst needed in the return game to make a difference.

Why they don't use as often as possible to get him in space with the ball in his hands is crazy.

Good thing they cut the guy.. good story maybe keep him on the practice squad but leave the kicking to a North American or at least an Aussie or Euro!

The lions have just been sold

https://www.thescore.com/cfl/news/2192558

Vancouver businessman Amar Doman purchased the BC Lions, reports TSN's Farhan Lalji.

The Lions are holding a news conference Wednesday for a "major announcement," according to TSN's Dave Naylor.

Doman reportedly takes over ownership of the franchise from David Braley's estate. Braley bought the Lions in 1997 and held the team until he died in October 2020. He began seeking potential buyers before his death.

Doman owns the Futura Corporation, an asset management and investment firm. He also has around three decades of experience in the lumber and building industry.

The Lions have won six Grey Cups and were most recently crowned champions in 2011. However, declining attendance has led to concerns about the future of the club.

Rainey's doing just fine.  (LOL update:  as he fumbles the ball.....)

And Burnham says hello too.  But Whitehead's pretty fun to watch so far.
