Hurricane Isaac

Common sense

i'm in new orleans right now, i was walking around tonight, it's starting to get pretty wild.

but i mean, nothing too scary so far. katrina happened because of the levee failure, that type of destruction isn't going to happen from a regular hurricane.

i'll keep you guys posted haha, the storm rages on outside my windows.

I live here in Louisiana, and the brunt of the storm has not hit where I live--tonight. Half a million homes are now without power; we were without power for a couple hours last night. At least there are a lot of of out of state power company trucks here.

Last I heard the Issac was a category 1 hurricane. Not to down play what the people there are going through but I just feel the media is using the past damage done by Katrina to sensationalize the damage that this one could do.
