Darth Kane
Don't know if it was mentioned already but Buffalo sent Hodgson to their AHL affliate. You can't have a Kassian thread without mentioning CoHo!

VancouverStyle
This will obviuosly be good for his development, i just hope the whole season isn't lost due the lock out. I'm not sure on what i would do with out a full season of hockey.

D-Bo7
Home opener against Rockford isn't until the 13th of October....So much waiting for hockey. Rodin - Schroeder - Kassian should be fun to watch though. WCE 2.0.
DownUndaCanuck
This is a pretty big slap to Kassian's face, basically saying he's worse than Weise, Volpatti and Pinizotto who's played less in the NHL than Kas.
Psycho_Path
I really don't think more time in the AHL is necessary for Kassian's development and I think he'd be better off in the NHL, mind you this is assuming he actually gets played in the top 9 (ie. AV isn't our coach). I'm just glad Arniel's the coach in Chicago this year. I really hope this doesn't have a trickle down effect on our other right wings in the system. With Tanev on the farm as well we're gonna have some of our D missing out on worthwhile development time in the A. Pretty lame. Stupid lockout. Nucks-4-Life
I love this move by the organization. I had a feeling it was coming soon. The fact that Kass has already proved he is a PPG player in the AHL is also very promising. Hopefully he can lead the Wolves to a championship if there is no season this year. Imagine the chemistry Kass, Connauton, and Schroeder can develop together? DROOL I can see it already, "Schroeder off the half wall passes it to Connauton at the point, Connauton with the big slapshot, tipped in front by Kassian!!!!!!! AND THE CROWD GOES WILDDDDD"

Canuck Surfer
Being sent to the AHL prior to a lockout does not equal that player not being good enough for the NHL. There are limited spots on the Wolves (and in Kalamazoo) and they have their own players under contract so we can't send down everyone. We're just sending down the players who we want to get the playing time rather than sit and do nothing until a new CBA is signed.
