Ursel23
With the lockout approaching it's quite possible that there will be no season at all with the way negotiations have been going. Nothing seems to be moving forward when it comes to an agreement. It leaves a horrible taste in the mouths of fans and players yet there's still a few upsides. Many of our prospects seem to be on the verge of becoming NHL ready players such as Kassian, Jensen, Tanev, Connauton, Lack and Schroeder. The year in the AHL will give all of these players big minutes. Anyways, what I really wanted to say was this is good for our prospects but also... Imagine if we won the draft lottery or even scored in the top 5 for what is supposed to be an amazing year filled with talent. We would be on our way to rebuilding for the post-SEDIN years, but also still having a cup contending team. Not to mention the prospects/picks we could pull in from a Luongo deal. Just a random thought.
